I wrote the biography/description for a character, how long will it take to be accepted?

There's no fixed time, so it's may vary from less than a week or more than a week. The sad thing is, there is no confirmation or update so you just gotta wait.

I don't know why people write that they are approachable persons,
if you were you wouldn't be on MAL.
