| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So Golden Freiza shows his true colors again...not even slightly surprising. Felt like a chilling episode and one of the most serious yet so far in route to the tournament. I mean, Freiza is just doing his own thing right now. In some ways, I do kinda like his attitude in this arc as it presents Freiza as a legitimate threat against the other teams. That brief fight between him and Goku showed how powerful he is too. |

| So Freeza can tank DESTRUCTION ENERGY... damn son. I like how he "struggled" against that blast and then says "nante ne~" Goku and Freeza fighting was cool to see too. Fingers crossed some of the spoilers that surfaced a couple weeks ago aren't true |

| Goku and his laid back self. Freeza escaping the Destruction sphere makes him stronger than Goku right? I really enjoyed seeing the mighty Emperor of Evil having his way with them minions. So Freeza tried to join another universe's team. Wow, guess them scans weren't tally fake, I mean he did try to join but couldn't. Freeza vs Goku was lit :) So next week the tournament finally begins. Preview shows some Yardrat looking dude, I like that throwback. |

nah Freeza is already on his golden form while Goku is not yet on his super saiyan blue form but when both of them are in their best form they are equal as stated by Beerus |

| I'm impressed by this episode. The art was on point and really good animation. Freeza still remain a shit as ever and he might betrayed them before the tournament start. Well next episode is so hype to finally see Jiren. |
| Back to basics... I was talking with another fellow anime viewer in another site about wanting Dragon Ball Super to show more penetration moves, disintegration/implosion (Frieza & Beerus prevented that) like DBZ and after 1 episode of that talk and I got what I wanted... delish! One thing I have to give credit to DB Super is that the villains are getting more and more intelligent in their execution of their motives/plans of course they lose at the end but that is expected after all they are villains but since Goku Black and now Frieza plotting against the good guys I expect good things from the plot, and who knows but what if we take into consideration what the Supreme Kai from universe 9 said Frieza can maybe go for a God of Destruction position that would be interesting. |

| So in Gokus World assassins from another universe equipped with energy of destruction and the mission to kill you are "bystanders". While frieza was really epic this episode ( it perfectly shows his character, arrogant but with a strong will and the intent to even manipulate gods.) I dont really like how they give him random powerups again. Animation was great! Finally it starts next week !! edit - I still think they should have kept fit boo, his magic would be quite interesting after all. But frieza is indeed special, usually in shounen garbage you have the villain become a friend of the guy that sealclubbed him. Cell is dead (I still think he would be better for everything because actual saiyan cells) boo is somehow friendly but frieza is still frieza. |

| Good episode. I liked it how Zen-Oh rewards the construction of the battle ground with a piece of candy. lol. So next week we get a reworked opening animation with Frieza in it? Frieza is such a wild card in this tournament, we may not know what he's up to. |

| Interestingly Frieza may be the first moderately interesting character in Super. A bit disappointed, that he didn't jump ship over to universe 9 though. He could actually give them a chance in the battle royale. We already know, that they're the worst of the universes and unless they introduce a stronger character it doesn't look too peachy for them. The wolves clearly weren't all that great. One of them doesn't even wear pants. |

Fair enough improvement. Then again, they're not animating complex battle choreographies. It was mostly still images with some effects. But props to them for figuring out how to not make their battles grating to the eye over time. |
