He was commenting on how Tomoko has gained friends (or at least people she associates with or seems to know) in the two years since the series began (the first chapter or so with her talking to her brother in his room). |

| The last couple of chapters have been a nice reflection on Tomoko's two years of high school. Indeed, it's nice that she gets some character development and her life is gradually getting better and more eventful. The author is doing a good job by not turning the series into a repetitive one trick comedy. |

| Become a person who gives. It's good that Tomoko came to that realization that this is what should matter. And she will eventually find out that these people are the ones who attract others. Then there's Tomoki looking out for his sister. He's so tsun lol. But still, a few things really never change and sometimes it's for the better. |
