Anwyay, I was afraid at first that this "China Arc" wouldn't live up to the manga's name but it really was equally as good. Hope this get translated soon to appreciate it even more! |

| the depiction of Mao was so epic, and upsettingly spot-on in terms of metaphor. what is even more disturbing is the depiction of George W. Bush as an infantile retard cloaked in the Confederate flag with the crest of the Klan on his head.... needing to have his hand held at all times. this show.... gets it. it understands politics. it understands badassery. it is everything that i could ever hope for in an anime.... aside from hoping for full-length episodes. i want, nay, i need more of this like; right now. |

| I never expected Mao Zedong was the last one to be defeated ( although he cheated, but I don't care). I thought George Bush was going to be the last one, I really wanted him to be the last( I guess Japanese thread carefully when it comes to Americans). I thought the George w Bush being on a crib has to have some kinda of meaning. But overall I thought it was good ova although it was short and the Mahjong theme killed me especially the Rising sun technique. I will miss that angry looking face Koizumi and his Ron! Rising Sun! technique. 7/10. |
