Idk why but I find it amusing at how Shindou and Yaha-kui zaShunina are drinking together like close friends.

Kinda interesting that they venture deeper into the heart of Kado.
Yaha-kui zaShunina also showed more of his powers and imo, it's kinda scary...

The antrosopic is basically the 4th dimension? and the process of information is fast that they want new things to keep them busy hence the made worlds and humanity was born.

Well that was unexpected. Tsukai is some kind of administrator to the world. I wonder why she wasn't aware of it before. She can't administrate anything if she thinks she's a normal human, right? Or was it all for situations like this one.

HOLY, the reveals this Episode where on another level (or should i say in another dimension?)!

The question about the professor is what happens if a human solves all these things on its own, does she become an anisotropic?

Hm, I think she was aware of it at all times, but I think she pledged not to interfere in the affairs of humanity besides playing her role of a human. Hence why the ring which symbolised 'a pledge of faith' was broken when she turned in her real form, since she was forced to break the pledge of non-interference.

Yeah that sounds reasonable. I guess she grew to love the world how it was and didn't want zaShunina to interfere. Or she had no idea about zaShunina's plan to accelerate the progress of the world in the first place. Hopefully we get explanations next time.

NOW Tsukai's explanations from the previous episodes make more sense! She's not spouting "dignity" for the sake of her ego. It's from a bystander's point of view!

Awesome episode! Still hoping zaShunina won't turn into a classic antagonist though. How did this anime make me root for all the characters? Even one that's just been revealed as the "bad guy"?

I doubt that there will be a thing like an antagonist, unless you root for one side more than the other out of your own volition. The show is way to multidimensional for that. (i'm so sorry :( i had to do it)

There are a lot of dircetions that could go. For example she could be framed by the masses as the 'bad' guy because she had all these insights and let humanity suffer.
Or she could be scared that her experimental universe of unlimited information dries up because of his interference.

It is basically a political ideology thing between two anisotropic beings about how to handle the so important thread of information.
One seems to want the risky speed up taking the chance that the information might dry up, but may accelerate or make the volume of information even larger and the other one wants the save but slow/limited route (we have no idea how time works or any laws in the 41 dimension) with no interference at all (may it out of love for humanity or her own interest).

..and what happens to the professor if she figures everything out? does she become an anisotropic being?

So much information was fed into this episode. That ending was unexpected. Tsukai is actually the administrator of the world. zaShunina made a clone of Shindo and was about to kill him, but Tsukai saved him in time. That was epic.

Fuck Tsukai, her whole being is a mistake. I actually started liking her last ep when she opened up about her opinion, because she just seemed like a normal level-headed human who doesn't want to hurry with progress uncontrollably. Now she's a fucking goddess of humankind or something. And what triggered her ring to break? It better not be because of Shindo, but because of something zaShunina did. Shindo has enough harem already, it doesn't need some extra promise ring bullshit to it.

Some of the scenes where zaShunina explained things were cool though. I'm just too pissed to be happy about them >:T This was my AOTS, now I don't know anymore.

Bruh way to fuck everything we knew up. I thought this was going to be a show where humanity expands its horizon and all of that, and now we have shounen superpower fights... Why did they have to make zaShunina the bad guy?! Now i know how the Tokyo Ghoul fans felt when they went for the HET ship. What the fuck is going to happen now? Tsukai is going to do some administrator bullshit and send zaShunina back or kill him. And then confess her feelings for Shindou? Is this what is going to happen now? Until this point in time, i had no idea of how the next episode would plan out, but now..... i am talking too much, guess i will have to wait and see... i cri. Just hope it doesnt go from a 9/10 to a 4-5

OH MAN!!! WHATTTT! That plot twist! O_O What HAPPENED! That last 30 second was so unexpected.

So Tsukai is an anisotropic beings and the administrator of the world. And It was the anisotropic beings that created the universe. We still don't know Yaha-kui zaShunina's true intentions though. Nanomis-hein is the fourth device.

Majestic. This might actually end in good versus evil since, as for now, zaShunina seems to be something like a collector, an "assimilator" and humanity is simply another source of "food" or "entertainment" to him, just like animals are to humanity(?). Even though he claims the humanity is the supreme product of anisotropic beingss efforts. So enticing, what they want to tell us...

So does her opinion that Humanity should not have the anisotropic's help come from her personal experience? I mean, if she already knows more than Shindo, her ideas are more warranted.
It's not the Slates that is essential to people. What we need is...

A small table to share a meal... That's more than enough.

There's still three episodes left, and this is supposedly a story that has been carefully written for years (it was meant to be a 2-hour movie). I highly doubt they'd spend 8 episodes of build up, science exposition, dialogue and negotiations, just to resolve the whole thing with a super power battle. I have faith in it.

So basically according to the series these ihou guys have created the universe and Tsukai is the one who made earth? Tsukai being an ihou being doesn't make much sense to me right now, I'm confused. They show her family background and then this twist in the next episode!? I hope they give a good explanation to everything.

All this while I was thinking about Soldier Blue looking at zaShunina, this episode totally destroyed that image for me.

I guess that everything goes around the ring she had, it should have more meaning than "Fate" , im not really sure but maybe she was "Sent" into a human with the power of that Ring she had

the antirtropic being isn't evil, he has a different perspective on the situation, his actions are evil, but I think it's wrong to call him evil, he's doing what he thinks is right, just how he's doing it is wrong...if that makes any sense.

I'm not sure how I feel about the reveal yet, it certainly had a great shock factor for me, I'll determine my thoughts on the twist after next ep comes by.

I certainly saw the copy of Shindo coming though, something about zaShunina's method of transportation seemed off from the get go.

Pretty excited to see what happens next ep nonetheless

I really don't see this becoming a battle show. This show has been based on conversation for far too long, it would be terribly stupid to become shounen at this point. Saraka just protected Shindo because she prizes him as an equal being, while Zashunina sees him as a replaceable computer. I think that's the better way to interpret what she did. There are no real hints that suggest a purely physical fight will be breaking out, so I'd rather not jump the gun and be overly pessimistic.

Nevertheless, that was a pretty fantastic episode. The explanations were pretty good. Hanamori was also gay, the way that was handled was pretty good.

Nope, you're not alone in this one. I was here, enjoying my weekly sci-fi show, when suddenly they throw in a magical girl segment. Seriously, it feels like they finally ran out of ideas and decided to appeal to some sort of "fight between superior beings" to create the climax necessary to end the story on a high note.

I was dissapointed for this show turning into a Shounen, it shouldn't be tsukai who would going to stop Zashunina, but rather someone else who's more of anistophic being who has been on this earth monitoring it's progress. For Tsukai? Mehhh... She introduced her family in previous episode and then suddenly she became a magical girl? I don't know how to take this shocking plot twist, I kinda understand the situation, but it shouldn't be tsukai, it's getting more senseless. I'm only watching this fantasy anime because it has a realistic approach, but after Tsukai? I'm sorry but, I can't....

This is becoming more and more Man of Steel..esk by the episode.

This episode was amazing, until the Mahou Shoujo appeared(the OP kind of spoiled it for me).

I thought the retarded scientist girl was going to be the one to send zaShunina away, since she's been learning so much about the anisotropic.

I'm not disappointed so far. It hasn't become a Shounen battle anime, even if there's a bit of a fight next episode (which I wouldn't be against). My main hope is that there is a real negotiation between Shindo and zaShunina so that zaShunina changes his mind instead of him having to be physically stopped.
Shindo said:
The goal of negotiations is to acquire what's in your best interest, but defeating your rival for a temporary gain? That'll always come back to bite you in the ass in the long term. The best thing you can do is to settle on something that meets the interests of both parties involved.
Shindo hasn't yet had to negotiate with zaShunina in a major way (as he sort of just went along with the Wam and Sansa), so I think it should happen. Ending the conflict with zaShunina in violence would be uncharacteristic of the series. Maybe they will be able to restrain him enough to resolve it with words? It's too early to say the series is ruined because a physical conflict has happened for the first time.

Yes she introduced her family, but you aren't thinking outside the box, what was that Ring? what if Tsukai was "sent" by the Anisotropic people to be monitoring?
at least wait for the next episode and you might have an answer for that

do you really think that it would become a "battle shounen" out of nowhere? In the very first place the anisotropic beings came in peace, if they wanted to transform this into a "battle shounen" they could have done this several episodes ago but they didn't and that's what makes it really great, don't lose your hopes because there was a plottwist cliffhanger

They better explain this well, because it really was disappointing for the events to turn out this way.
It's kind of weird for zashunina to act this way. I never suspected that he could kill a human and replace him with his clone, but since his understanding is very different from ours, i don't know...
Maybe that was a trigger for Saraka's transformation - when another anisotropic tries to kill a human being or something like that?
Since she is guardian of the "cocoon", what does that mean? I suppose the guardian anisotropic is assigned to any universe that was created by them and is dormant there until that universe provides the results that anisotropics hope for and then they come to assimilate that new "information". It is weird that she didn't do anything when Kado just landed then... They better explain how an anisotropic is a normal young japanese woman too. Maybe that ring is an anisotropic (or some residue of it)...

Either way i dislike the direction that show took. I prefer a slow analysis how humanity adopts new technologies, how that affects their daily lives, politics and etc. But i guess they planned only one season and needed to end this quickly. It's sad because the show had a very interesting concept that will probably remain very shallowly explored.
