| ??? being sentient is probably the biggest info we've had on it so far. Don't know whether it's an elder being or a part of Mob, but it seems to intervene whenever the latter "dies" and was in need of some immediate help: "ward off the bullies", "defend Mob from Teru", "defend Mob from Mogami" and "confess". Hopefully we'll get more explanations on what ??? is, but I have to wonder how Tsubomi will react to it. |

| I always thought ???% was a part of Mob. But this is a first instance we've seen ???% speak. It/He speaks as if it has autonomy, as if he speaks as a seperate being. But it/he certainly seems triggered as a last resort defense mechanism against any bodily harm shigeo can't handle. This is seriously interesting. Would love to see this animated but I think that'll be for the far future 😣 |

| Wow, this chapter was beyond great. We've finally come full circle and this time we're rooting for Teru. Unlike their first encounter, Teru is fighting for everyone's and more importantly for Mob's sake. He's finally internalized the notion that everyone is a commoner, even Shigeo whom he admires so much, which is perfectly illustrated by the last words he utters before fainting: "I am your rival." Ever since the Black Vinegar Mid incident, Teru's been borderline worshipping Mob and trying his hardest to catch up to him, probably thinking deep down that he was completely out of his reach. In order to deal with his feeling of inferiority, He's always been overcompensating by training extra hard, rushing into battle (and getting his ass kicked). Until today. Today, he's learned (at long last) that Shigeo and him are equals, "I am your rival" implying that both parties stand on equal footing. Teru has finally become the protagonist of his own life, and that's the best possible development I coul've excepted for him. All that being said, who will be able to stop ??? now? |

| Very heartbreaking update. It's not the first time Teru calls himself Mob's rival though. But it's the first time we see him crying for other's sake, and that's what people were mostly pointing out as a sign of his development. But I understand what you mean, the whole scene shows that there is less worshipping from Teru's side. |

| Teru.. shigeo's true friend tbh. I really loved this part, mainly because its reminiscent of when i first couldnt control my emotions. Having no control over how upset you are is daunting and seemingly hopeless. So, i was amazed by how destructive mob's emotions has reflected in society. Sometimes when it's hard to come down from being distraught, you need people to help even if you feel hopeless. Teru is really coming through to Mob. Let's just see how Shigeo can pull out. |

| 100.17 aughh amazing. reigen's leveling himself to shigeo on an emotional level and unveiling himself as a con-man helped shigeo hone his true identity. Great timing on Reigen's part for defusing Shigeo. I couldn't imagine what it would be like if ???% (assuming Shigeo has been talking to ???%) confessed and got rejected blatantly like that. The ultimate battle of inner-conflict and redefining self-identiy came and went. The dualism fighting inside shigeo has been resolved. At last. |
| 100.1 - 100.17 so he's fight his other self as the final boss, not even the mafia boss could best Mob. I actually wished for a detailed explanation about the entity that reside within Mob, so powerful like a God himself. and after all those destruction, they just walked off like that? I thought after Mob came to accept ??? he would revert the town back to it's original state. and poor Mob, getting turned down by Tsubomi. but it looks like it's more than that. If Tsubomi really want to give a complete rejection, she wouldn't waited Mob to come the entire time. |

| Breathtakingly incredible. So many things came full circle, so many character arcs reached conclusion, so many character over the series coming back into the fold. Loved everything about it, from all the callbacks to Teru's first fight, to the resolution for Sho & Toichiro, to the body improvement, to Ritsu 100%, and Dimple's return legitimately made me jump. That was such an effective reveal, and it worked wonderfully within the story. I originally had worry about Dimple returning since I thought his send off was so beautiful, but with all the callbacks and how much this arc positioned Mob as the villain, the one who had to be helped by all his friends, it wouldn't have felt complete without Dimple's appearance. But of course, it's the stuff with Reigen that lands the hardest. Their dynamic is the strongest core of the series, and seeing him admit about all his lying was obvious but very cathartic. Of course, Mob already knew Reigen was full of that though he gave him an obvious out "My master is genuinely a good guy" so it was never really addressed, Reigen needed to confess himself. And the whole ??? being a self-acceptance journey all along is brilliant. Since I didn't consider that path for ??? until this all started, I never put much thought into Reigen's double-sided nature but it's a perfect complement to Mob's ???. And the whole, let's go back to how we were then with happy pictures of young Tsubomi and Ritsu with a picture of Mob making them fly with a sunset in the background was a beautiful touch. I like how the panels operate as Mob's hand, how the individual pics of Tsubomi & Ritsu line up with the way Mob is holding them. Mob being rejected isn't really a surprise, but it had to be this way. It's not like Tsubomi some reward for self-acceptance, his growth here alone is more than enough and as they said, she waited throughout all this, that's definitely something. |
