| I think it started recently, like this year(2017). I was wondering why they would change the genre "Anime" to "Anisong." Does anyone know why? | Just the first page on google I pulled up it looks like they've used anisong at least as far back as 2009 as part of an anime festival. But I wouldn't be surprised if it dates older than that. So it's more of an older phrase that was intended for anime theme songs but I'm guessing whatever you're referencing that sorted them for some reason just started using it. |

| I Tag all the music I download by myself so I don't rally care or notice that stuff. When I do a bulk download I usually clear off the genre and comments because some twats like leaving comments on my Rabu Raibu songs. |
