You should see Mikasa's yandere face after that, scary stuff. This episode's flawless fight scene is the epitome of well-made animation, definitely worth all the wait. |

| I seriously hate cgi but man that episode wasss dope even thou colossal titan looked ugly cgi but the action sequence impressed me, I liked how they mixed cgi and 2d animation for action scenes |

| Damn Eren went from losing the fight miserably to being totally enlightened and turned the tables quick on Reiner. The Armored Titan has its flaws and his last ditch effort to save himself came as a real surprise, so it seems that Bertholdt will drop himself while slowly doing the negative procedure reverting back to his human form but not quite, and let the dead weight of the Colossal Titan fall on the two Titans on the ground. Interesting tactic but a double edged sword, this could lead them to immediate death or capture in the worst case scenario or they can escape from the squadrons. It's all up to Eren's actions now. |
| I was kinda sad that this episode was short on soundtracks, especially compared with episode before this, which had an amazing scene/music at the end. |

The core material was good, sakuga was awesome, but the episode just lacked the oomph. It just felt too calm when epicness should have been off the charts. I don't feel it was a mistake but a choice they made to make the fight feel like that, the music choice is a crucial reason here as you said. I really prefer more epicness crazy fights (Annie fights ;-;) but I love how they want each fight to have its identity, like to have versatility. Tho I miss Eren's berserk rage, it still makes sense to see him relatively calmer and having better control of his titan. This is a turning point for Eren, he is learning and getting better which is awesome to see. |

| I also agree that the Sound Director this time messed up. I think they tried to make a difference with Annie's fight against Eren in the woods, where they used ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn track a lot. I believed they would have used that track in this fight too, would've been the best choice, but that's just me, an amateur musician. Seems like they wanted a change. Even so, the soundtrack was fine at the end and during some parts of the episode too. I loved this episode so much, such a great adaptation of two chapters of the manga. Glad to hear Annie again. I am also very sad that Keiji Fujiwara is still ill, his Hannes voice is the best fit. Tsuda is very good, but his voice doesn't really compare to Fujikei. |

| That was a LOAD of action I loved seeing. The Annie flashbacks were cool (even if I didn't really like her). It's nice seeing how Annie taught him how to fight, even though it'd end up backstabbing her and Reiner in the end when he uses it on them. Hanji blushing though, that was such a cute scene in the middle of a battle scene area. I love how Connie is still in the dark though, that's hilarious. |
