But really; creepiness combined with horrid art, combined with laughable horrible dialogue, combined with basically every science cliche known to man all in one little manga. And it somehow goes on FOREVER. 50some chapters and we're only around 1/5 of the way done? o.o |

| I enjoy reading this manga so much, people are taking this manga way too seriously. this manga containins some of the most ridicuous scenes and dialogue I have ever seen in a manga, how can one not find Fourteen hilarious. Also, the web is full of awesome pictures of Umezu himself :D  |

If he doesn't, it really should not be categorized anywhere as Horror, as horror is an inherently serious genre where parody and goofiness don't really have a place. If he does, then it would be categorized as horror, just really really really really B-rated horror. |

| Umezu is a great master of manga. Fourteen is indeed, one of his craziest works. This manga has a lot of Mindfuck and "LOL, WTF AM I READING?!" moments, but still, is a nice and interesting read. PS: Chicken George = One of the most awesomest characters ever created! |
| This manga has some of the most fantástic ideas I have ever seen, specially that last twist during its ending arc. Problem is, the twists are handled wierdly and are more about shock factor that trying to sound plausible or make sense. But overall a well done chunk of insanity. Other mangaka will make the twists looks stupid, while Umezu's own Brand makes them look surreal and over the top in the coolest way possible, so no matter if he takes himself seriously or not. |
