Used MPC once, but decided VLC was better. So now I'm using VLC.

A lot better, actually.

Web --> Google for streaming.

Using animeseason right now cause I find it's easier to stick to one site and watch every good show on it than it is to lurk recommendations here and try to find a site with them.

Zoom Player for everything. I don't see the point of installing 2-3 programs of the same kind if one can do the same job.

VLC. Just about everything else on that list gives me a shitton of problems, while VLC has all the features I ever need.

Was expecting Media Player Classic to have a bigger percentage (about 50-60%), since all the anime related group/sites recommend using it.

I was using KMPlayer for a long time, but it started to act weird with the 720p and 1080p videos and I couldn't figure out how to fix it so I switched back to MPC-HC.

I recently started using BS.Player, but am having trouble with it. Keep getting the message "Can't save configuration file!" Will probably go back to RealPlayer.

Media Player Classic obviously. It can describe scripted subtitle.

Other media player can't do it.
Sorry for my bad English.

Until yesterday (well, if I were watching anime), mainly MPC. I was always encountering problems with it, so I uninstalled it. I'll just use VLC for MKV and OGM files from now on. For other video file types I often use GOM.

i used to play my file in kmplayer but since 10bit came out and kmplayer doesn't support 10bits i had to switch to mpc + core avc, it can handle 10bit but terribly slow for my computer, then i tried a VLC build from they repository, here you got it in case you have 10bits problems and a really bad computer:
http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/last/ its a beta, it may cause some problems, so far its working fine for me, i recommend unchecking the ordered chapter box in the advance configuration.

VLC player. But when I download episodes that give me a green-screen on that I use CCCP. If one doesn't work, the other will.

I use a Mac, so it's either VLC or MPlayer OSX Extended. I like VLC despite its shortcomings and I use it for everything except 10 bit encodes which I use MPlayer for.

Using the new and improved setup for 10bit videos these days. Media Player Classic + Halliplit + LAV + MadVR for the best quality out there.

KMP has served me well for a very long time.
I don't understand how people can stream anime, the quality is often horrible...

I've used VLC for as long as I can remember, I've always used VLC. If VLC doesn't play it, it's not worthy of my precious time.

MPlayer OSX Extended.

I used to use VLC, but when I couldn't figure out how to get the 10bit videos to play, I searched around for another player. It hasn't given me any problems thus far and the only downside is that I can no longer use my trackpad to scroll up/down for volume and left/right to fastforward/rewind.
