Watch from the beginning, it's more natural that way.

Start with the most recent episode and work your way backwards to the pilot and afterwards do the same with the manga. Really the only logical answer tbh.
I probably regret this post by now.

the early season were more low budget and shitty animation and plot you can see in their low rating; but for season 5 and 6 another studio has got the franchise and did a way better job
the series is fully episodic and 0 contuniyty you will understand everything np

Start with the first episode of the first season. Season 1 was really slow at times but trust me it's worth it in the end. The series really clicked with me during the 2nd season and now it's one of my favorites. You should definitely give it a try.

Mhhh... I think it would be better if you start at S6 then go down. That seems like the most natural thing if you ask me...

Start from the first season of course. Why would you even start watching it in the middle?

You have to watch from the beginning because their are plot specific episodes thrown in like the introduction of new characters and overarching plot points. The anime switches between overarching plot specific episodes to just standalone episodes at random.

Watch the first season, then you can watch the rest of it in random.

You should really watch it from the beginning and then in order. The anime does an excellent job of organizing the chapters for the flow of each season and building off each connecting one substantially. Characters and their relationships develop throughout and will reappear throughout whenever
