| 1. Light would have actually excelled better with the Geass than the Death Note. I don't think there's a time limit once someone gets hit by the Geass. The only limit is doing it one time, which Light obviously would test out if that was his powers. He would use the Geass on anyone powerful to serve under him so he can be a God of the new world. 2. Lelouch won't go after petty criminals like what Light did as test subjects. He'll test on those who already is in his way of his goals. To pursue a better world, he'll probably aim to kill his father so he can man the throne and create a better world. With his capabilities, he can certainly achieve this without anyone tracing to him because there isn't someone as good as L in Britannia. |

| It'd be too convenient for Lelouch, it wouldn't even be a series since his motivation is a personal vendetta and he'd have the perfect tool for it. Now, Light with a Geass would be a force to be reckoned with, there are endless possibilities in which he could use it since his actions are not bound by a personal motive. The deaths would probably be kept to a minimum but in turn it'll probably be much, much more adult and dramatic. |

| Lelouch would win, but Light would fail. Death Note would work well for Lelouch because he knows the name and face of almost all his enemies, which wasn't the case for Light. Light would probably lose even if he had Geass. The main reason for this is because his opponent is much more intelligent than any of Lelouch's enemies in Code Geass, and Light would likely still start out by testing his power, giving L a chance to figure Geass out. Geass is also a lot less complicated than the Death Note, so L should be able to come to a conclusion much faster than he did with the Death Note. |
