Awesome episode :) I also loved the pacing. And the-biggest-boss-in-Glory's identity was discovered. What now? Can't wait!!!

That's right... use a map glitch to win.
Pretty realistic if you ask me... just hope they don't patch it.

Another pro player to the rescue but he talks too much which is kinda annoying but he looks OK to me.

What do you mean what's next? This season was completed like months ago, and ep 1-11 are on Youtube Tencent Official Channel for free, however, ep 12 has been removed for some idk reason, so you have to do some digging for that.

This is a statement indicating that I'm looking forward to see what the next episode will have to offer in terms of development. As I'm currently marathoning the series.

Oh well, my bad for misunderstanding, although this anime changed few things from the source but is actually nice to watch, so I hope you enjoy it.

Ye Xiu is kicking everyone's ass even those on the professional team. At least he's reunited with his waifu, Asuna. The adult version of Asuna.

Now that I noticed, look at all their high-tech gaming equipment. I'm not professional gamer but those look pretty expensive.

I like how Ye Xiu easily pisses off people while looking ever so subtly smug. Enlisting the help of his friend and another professional gamer with an oversized head. Do pro-gamers really act like that? LOL.

Those speech bubbles can be really annoying though.
There is no such thing as an Anime elitist. You watch Anime, therefore, you are trash by society's standards.

Talkative players like Huang Shaotian are why I prefer to text chat rather than using voicechat

Probably my favorite episode yet. The humor was really nice this time as well as the character interactions.

lmao this episode was funny.

Shaotian is very talkative but he is not annoying.

It seems that Liu Hao failed in everything lol.

I forget that Su Mucheng appeared in the first episode -.-

Life has no meaning.

Ye Xiu teaching his party to GIT GUD! He should make a new pro-e-sport team, to be honest, that is if he could actually do that...

Holy shit, even the brick throwing dude beat Liu Hao, a pro gamer and a vice-captain. That's pathetic, even if the brick throwing dude did learn many things grom Ye Xiu. To top it off, Liu Hao lost to the blonde ninja guy, causing his own captain to get angry at him. He simply deserves all of this! Even his cover is quickly exposed by Ye Xiu, his teacher.

For some reason I couldn't stop noticing how fast the Chinese subs are going and i'm not even reading those.
It's going to mess with me because now I can't unsee them.

The only thing I look forward in this series are the McD's adverts and STEAMED BUN INVASION <3.

Oho! Interesting. This gunna be gud. *grabs popcorn*

BTW, I have a couple of questions to the readers. How does PVP actually work? I see a 3v3 and a 5v5 but how is it structured? The goal? Just pure elimination mode? Is there flag captures? Escort missions? Just one map? Multiple maps? Is warding present? Do they see a minimap while in-game? Are healer spells line-of-sight? How useful are the supports' positioning? Are there dedicated shotcallers or does the entire team make decisions inefficiently under fire or both? Do they had to have equipment level parity? How do they split roles? How often does the top teams scrimm against each other? How are the tournament structured? One mega-tournament running for the entire year or individual events and mini-seasons? I assume it's a LAN tournament... yes?

I'm not invested to read the novel so spoil me because I want to cut through the MMO fluffs. I didn't come here to watch MMOs. Log Horizon already exist.

Depends on the type of PvP match, Domination style match team with most kills, or who has the last man standing wins, Capture the flag the team that is able to capture the other teams flag first wins.. In this series they play domination, and that can be 1v1, 3v3, or 5v5 in the games context. I like SAO, Log Horizon, and Kings Avatar as gaming anime go they are the best of the bunch As far as rating them strictly as gaming anime I can interchange Kings Avatar and Log Horizon in the number 1 slot with SOA being third.
