they gave out game codes to people who bought bluray and dvd's and game is extremely popular in japan

I don't know if there's a bonus but I actually expect that sales. I expect the hardcore fans of Granblue games to buy those, especially since the character song CDs that was sold last year sold well. I thought if those useless character songs sold well, then the anime must also sell well.
I really believe that the anime gets released not mainly to advertise the games, but mainly to milk Granblue games fans.

So, that's why. I believe that's also the reason why those dumb character songs sold well.

Thought Youjo Senki might have a crack at 10k given how big the LN boost was, still could with a great 7.6k first week.

Granblue Fantasy doing great. Was rumored to be a year long show at one stage and there likely be more after the first 14 episode run with these kind of sales.

Here's hoping for Youjo Senki S2...

Youjo Senki and Gabriel DropOut overcame the bar in three thousand? Pretty good news. I hope that they will get the second seasons, or at least will be simply successful.

Please lets stop pretending that Granblue is the exception consindering now a days almost every bds come with event tickets. If grandblue game wasnt so popular the codes would be useless.

Once the last volume drops for YOI then it's Blu-ray+DVD sales should average around 60,000 more or less. It's had a pretty impressive and consistent run!

considering the release is a 4 BD box thats pretty good. being ￥ 10,593 per vol isnt that bad considering thats double most BDs.

anyways the anime worked since its getting a sequel. glad it was on NHK and not noitamina block

Limited Katalina is honestly one of the lesser reasons that people go buy the BDs for. There are a lot more desirable things to get

This may be the last report for it, but if it gets past 1 billion yen, then it will be included in the Box Office 2017 Yearly list from eiren.org.

A lot of screens closed for SAO Movie, so it looks like it'll end at ~2.5 billion yen as was predicted since its opening weekend result.
