| If it wasn't for the actual story finally advancing with the little melancholy of the gods, I was actually going to drop this series. Lefiya makes me cringe every time I hear her speak because I hate her character so much. Someone in this thread said it right, she's essentially the female version of Bell so basically it makes Sword Oratoria the yuri pandering show of the season (and it's not exactly doing a good job of it). She finally managed to do something this episode so about time for some sort of development but yeah. Hopefully we can move past the tedious yuri pandering slice of life and actually move on with the plot to see what was going on while Bell had his problems. So far both shows haven't convinced me of even touching the source. |

| This show is making a big mistake by not having Aiz be the main focus. Why should I care who Lefiya is? Why should I care if she's worthless or not? I don't even care if seeing more of Aiz takes away her mysterious side, I know it would be more interesting by a mile. The fight scene was pretty cool though. |
| The original DanMachi from my memory was a laugh riot; awesome chemistry between Bell and Hestia, and a real sense of adventure. 3 episodes into this spinoff, I don't recall laughing even once. In fact, most of the attempted humour felt forced. Lefiya's annoying character is only part of the problem. The whole direction and production feels second grade, and watching this show has just become a chore. That's never a good sign for a series that's supposed to bring excitement and laughs. |
| I'm a bit supriced to see so many people say that the first show was so much better. The way of writing is not all that different. The series was fun, but never that good to begin with imo. But that aside does someone know the track that starts playing when Lefiya finally stood up? Or do we have to wait for the ost realese? It starts somewhere around 17:30 |

| i'm really thinking of dropping this series , it's boring as hell and very predictable , even the characters aren't interesting at all , at least in the main series it had lots of movement and felt more progressive about how the characters are and how they interact but this is just about the annoying lesbian mc ( which i think people are using now more because it gets views ) for 19 minutes of the episode with only 2-3 minutes of the episode about actual story . |

| Not even this time, I can be satisfied with this episode in everything and for everything. The fact of giving, during the narration, the space for parallelism with the previous series, leaves little time to do more, such as deepening the characters in their entirety and developing a story that only pertains to them. Not even the fighting, they are fascinating during the clashes, but they reckon a certain cyclicity that makes them a bit tedious. Drawings showing highs and lows. I hope you can change the register in the upcoming episodes, as at the end of episode something interesting has been shown. |

| That whole "I love Ais, and i'm tired of her rescuing me all the time. I need to get stronger so i can catch up to her" thing has been done to death in Danmachi. Do we really have to see it again with a second character? This series isn't what i was hoping, but i guess it's still decent. I loved watching Ais whip around whooping monster ass in the streets. |
| Even when Lefiya is enchanting a spell is boring hahahahah This show is a mess. They don't develop the characters properly, but they have a lot of time to put more and more yuri scenes that won't add anything to the story. I'm tired of watching the same thing over and over again. |

I thought that this series would have been bad because Ais, never expected that the protagonist would have been the most annoying elf in the history of the animation. episode 3 was surely better than the first two, there weren't too much stupid tits joke or yuri fantasies, finally some action, however for all the time I was wondering if I would have seen bell... the party is boring, I want see the elf to disappear, surprisely the best character is the one who never talk, ais |

| I have mixed feeling about this anime so far because we are seeing the same timeline of events thru a different set of eyes but it's still the same events as before which means essentially nothing new is happening. I really like Lefiya as a character and of course everyone loves Aiz but so far the story feels a bit stale. This anime is hinting that they will start to unravel the nefarious plot within the ranks of the gods and goddesses but so far there really hasn't been any exposition or any additional information from what we got in the original DanMachi. I am very interested to see that part of the story and I hope this anime digs into it soon. Dionysus seems to be up to no good and Freya is plotting something too but Loki is colluding with her for the time being so we will see where that all leads. I can't wait to see what next week has in store for us fans! |

The long casting wouldn't have been so bad if a speech wasn't intertwined with it to make it even longer, I mean if you have a long ass spell to cast it probably isn't wise to start off with a long speech, just saying xD. This is anime, so I guess we had to have the dramatic monologue of her resolve. |

| To leafiya being able to help her idol Ains is the only reward that she will needs really. Its nice that Ains realizes this by the end of the last episode though. Ah the gods party from back then. Lol its funny watching the gods talk about their familiars as if they are just possessions though. But i guess to them this is what they are. The maneuvering of the gods though nothing big is also interesting to see. Hmm Ains and Lefiya are on a expedition into the dungeons eh. As ever Ain's skill with the sword is impressive. Hmm getting used to new and temporary weapons is always hard and will take the longest to get used to. Especially as this blade isn't unbreakable like her old one. This expedition should give them time to bond though. Hmm so at the moment Leafiya only use more traditional spells at the moment and not higher spells that allow her to fight while also using spells. Well plenty of time to develop her skills with the action that the familar goes through i guess. Concurrent chanting though sounds like a very useful spell and technique for mages as it eliminates their greatest flaw. Its nice that both Ains and Leafiya are both developing as characters and changing as they interact with each other though. In a way both are helping each other evolve into a better person. Its nice that Ains is now more considerate of others feelings though. Man these bears sure are sneaky though aren't they lol. Hmm so thats what the gods had in mind eh. To capture animals for use in performances during the festival eh. Its cute when seeing Leafiya ask Ains to go with her to the festival though. Lol i guess Ains is the kind of person that's just restless when nothing had to be done. But with someone of Ains skill leading the foray i doubt Leafiya was in any danger anyway still its nice that Riveria is showing concern for Leafiya though since her skills are still developing. Loki sure spoiled Leafiya's plans though poor girl. Lol Leafiya's idea of her time with Ains at the festival though is pretty funny. Its nice that Leafiya realizes that she can keep relying on others to help her though and that she needs to improve her skills as well. In this having Ains as a motivation will be useful. Hmm so we finally encounter the troublesome and calculating schemer Freya eh. So thats why Loki wanted an escort eh. Lol the talk here completely alludes to her actions against Bell. Freya is still as mysterious as ever eh. Lol Ains and Loki at the food stalls and their interaction was funny. Hmm monster events never go as planned eh lol. At least not when Freya is concerned. Hmm well Ais is certainly powerful enough to deal with monster attacks on her own though. As expected this is like child play to her. Hmm but i guess in her haste Ais ended up missing one monster that was hiding underground. Hmm so this thing is sensitive to magic eh. Good thing Ains got here in time but even with her here things will still be tough. Man reinforcements sure are taking their time in getting here though. Its nice that Leafiya is finally finding the courage that she needs to help her hero Ains and begin her journey of getting strong enough to stand beside her though. Finding the courage to stand up and fight is always the first step for any hero and here its nice to see her courage comes from her willingness to help and support Ains no matter what. So thats Leafiya's special ability to duplicate an infinite number of spells eh. Pretty impressive ability and its nice that she has finally awakened her ability though. Wow Leafiya's magic is pretty powerful when she's using her special ability. Love the relationship between Ains and Leafiya though. This is a great first step for Leafiya though and the first step in making ehr a stronger person. Hmm so it seems that snake monster was not part of Freya's plan then. So a third faction is present eh. |

| Loki and Lefiya are quite similar in their admiration of Aiz. Though in case of Lefiya she doesn't actually mind that much. The plant monsters were a lot of trouble. At least Lefiya could show her abilities and courage and got the desired indirect kiss. |

| Side quest from Loki, behind the screen from Monsterfilia mess, eh? Such a messy incident, and i should know from the beginning that it was Freya and Loki whos behind that. The only interesting part when that unknown god joined the party too. Lol. Glad that Bell 2.0 finally found out her encouragement and burst her legendary magic to that damn monsters. Thats why she looked so underestimated and kinda useless at the previous time, while her level kinda too high from her current conditions. Its because her talent, the magic she owned, the legendary one. Hmm, well, i see now, all the loss pieces from before .... So, whats else after this? Hopefully i got to see whats the deal with that god beforehand. Lets see... |
