| In chapter 178 Crocodile launches an attack with cutting damage called La Spada Luffy dodges the attack out of fear that he would have been would have died had the connected, which Crocodile seems to imply would have been the case. So far so good...but then, in Luffy's last fight in Alabasta in Chapter 209 he punches through a related attack called Desert La Spada head on without his limb getting bifurcated or even much damage. So that's what I found, if this is true then Oda nerfed Crocodile even more in order to allow Luffy to defeat him. |
| Well you seem to be forgetting 2 things about how Luffy defeated Crocodile 1- He poured water into him which made him considerably weaker, because it's the opposite of the sand power (same as what happened with Enel and rubber) 2- He himself was kinda wet all over so extra protection against him |
