In this first episode, we can tell that MC of first season (Bell) is just a secondary one in this remake season , so i think it's a yes! But, if you want my advice just watch the first and skip this remake it will be way better :D

Why the fuck would you want to watch this without watching the first season?
Start at the start and then go to this.

Watch the previous season first..cuse if you go straight to this one you wont understand some things.
Also this isnt "2nd season" its just alternative setting...i hope they did indeed a 2nd season not this "alternative setting" cuse honestly idgf about Ais Party...but oh well....just have to deal with it-

They are both awful shows. It's basically a long chain of empty fanservice without any story or character development.
