| Didn't really know what to expect since I haven't watched much Astro Boy related stuff (only some of the 2003 version), but in the end I was pleasantly surprised. It seems really fresh, the art is quite beautiful yet not to flashy. Not really that big happened but it hints an interesting story. The guys from lab 7 were awesome and quite funny, can't wait to see them and their robot again. |

| They make it slightly different from original (I mean this one) manga. Tenma is way more well-rounded then in manga, kinda romantic. In manga he's is a lot more pragmatic, strongly a militarist. Also, love how both manga and anime reminds of other Atom renewal - Jetter Mars. |

| Pretty nice start of this prequel, I quite like it sometimes that older series get a prequel of its main series! Though this might have a good or bad influence. But with this first episode I do say that I quite liked it, looking forward to see what's next! |

| what a bore. like someone that never read a thing about tetsuwan decides to produce this garbage, it's all about the robots and boobs. this connects very well to the 2003 adaptation and that one was the least interesting and genuine :( |
