| Lol that reason. So she beat a guy coolly and suddenly started finding cherry blossoms beautiful. Who thought that was a good idea. That line is cliche as hell in the first place. Not bad. Let's see if continue with it or not. So far, the main heroine is likable even tho her reasoning makes no sense. |

| as someone who played the game this was a huge disappointment to be honest. they just throw you into the fighting part and make everyone but 4 characters a bunch of greyed out silhouettes. hopefully they will explain more about everything in the next episode rather than just show people fighting for the few minutes we even have in the show -_- |
| I was really looking forward to this one so I'm happy it's finally aired! \o/ Some people may have seen me shill this before but for those that have not, I'm going to do it again. While I do like the OP well enough, I really love the original VN OP, done by the VAs for Minowa Totomaru and Konparu Takayuki (the blonde and the green-haired). Here's the preview! On to the actual episode: I haven't played the VN myself since I cannot nihongo, but I've read a little of the manga and the first episode is pretty different from the manga (which does follow the VN). For instance, our heroine meets Totomaru first before Konparu, but here she met Konparu first. Another change is the lack of explanation in this episode, probably due to the episode length. I do think it will be explained later, but for anyone who wants to know (it's not really a spoiler, but I'll spoiler-tag it anyway): The interaction between Totomaru and Hikaru is different as well, but maybe they'll still put it in later somehow. Anyway, I don't necessarily dislike the difference, because I think it's refreshing, but anime-only viewers might be lost with this episode since we didn't really learn anything. If anyone needs clarification as to what happened in this episode, feel free to reply. Haha, I love how Yuta showed up in this sneaky way. Ha, the lack of animation of background characters really makes this look low-budget (it probably is). Still, I'm glad we got some actual fight scenes animated, it's one of the things that just looks nicer moving than in image form. Oh, by the way, the four characters that showed up at the start are the OP and ED singers, who are also anime-only characters. And no, they aren't professional VAs (as far as I know). If there's one thing I want to complain about (besides the short length and the lack of animated background characters), it's the lack of comedy. The story is actually pretty funny with plenty of comedic moments, but it's not seen here in episode one. I hope they bring them in subsequently, because I enjoyed the humour (and I don't always like comedy), especially between Totomaru and Hikaru. Still, ultimately it was a pretty enjoyable first episode, and I did have fun watching it. |

| As someone who hasn't played the game, I enjoyed it. The girl is quite awesome. It was a bit disappointing that the length was only 8 minutes, since it probably could've been a decent 24 minutes episode with a decent explaination and such. |

| I've not even played the game and this was still disappointing. I mean, it was only like 8 minutes long and I still couldn't finish it. At least other Otome game adaptations have pretty art, but this anime doesn't even have that to carry it. |

| This was pretty decent. Why aren't the episodes longer though? There have been plenty otome game to anime adaptions that have a normal episode length (like Amnesia). Great voice acting, but then again it's expected since they're just using the same seiyuus from their game. It was also pretty lame that all of the characters besides the main ones are just grey cardboard cutouts. I'll keep my eye one this, especially since the actual game interested me. Haven't played it though, since I don't know how to read Japanese and I don't think the game is gonna be getting a translation anytime soon. |
| bishounen are always nice and very much appreciated ♥ u ♥ i dunno how i feel about this yet, tho. but it's a quick 7 minute anime that i can watch in my freetime. although i feel like they're trying to pack a lot into just 7ish minutes. it's a bit rushed and confusing :/ |

| It felt too short and didn't show too much, but so far I enjoy this main character. A woman among men that can kick ass without relying on sex appeal/boob physics/pantyshots. That's always a plus for me! I'll keep watching. |
