Poor Natsume got turned into a child. Everything is so strange & scary for him. Tanuma & Taki are such great friends. Natsume & Nyanko Sensei sleeping peacefully was adorable. |

| Damn, it's the first episode and it started off with a tearjerker. Asking Taki and Tanuma if he's hated ;_; Natsume Gotta say, I think this may be my favorite OP/ED outta all the seasons so far. Visually, this season also looks way better than season 5's. |

| Nice start to the season. That Yokai has quite the amazing power, almost too good to be true. I wonder if it's more of an illusion and doesn't extended the natural life expectancy of the person it's used on. |

| Wow, I'm speechless. This episode was breathtakingly beautiful, and I'm talking abot both the visuals and the story here. I got teary-eyed really fast, my heart just can't take little Natsume. If Shuka maintains this level of quality, Roku can easily become my favorite season out of all six. Although I wouldn't hold my breath on it to not get disappointed. That's not to say that Roku won't be amazing. As everyone has mentioned, the OP is gorgeous indeed. |

I gotta say I've missed Hiroshi Kamiya's more "natural" voice (because Mephisto Pheles and Levi don't exactly suit him), and somehow I found myself liking Natsume even more with this episode. This is going to be a very fun ride...! |

| Finally,the saving grace of this season is here. They are really jumping around adapting chapters in random order...didn't expect getting to see this one animated so soon. Anyways~ I loved how Tanuma and Taki got to experience Natsume from the past and just...I am so happy he is happy now and got people who love him and *chokes up* yes,life would be so sad (in a bad way) without some good Natsume Yuujinchou feels. |
| Would it be wrong to secretly wish there was another timeline with Tanuma and Taki as Natsume's parents or guardians who know about Natsume's situation and still accept him and just want to protect him and eat curry and cupcakes together like a happy family!? T-T It was just so precious! I also enjoyed that Nyanko sensei introduced himself as "Nyanko sensei" and not his actual name to Natsume ( shows how much he's grown accustomed to the nickname ) Overall, best episode ever!( even though it's the first of the season!) |
| Once again Natsume Yuujinchou has not failed any of my expectations. The opening to the series is just beautiful I love it so much! This episode was just absolutely precious and little Natsume is so cute <3 @narulovesramen I secretly wish there was another timeline too! |

| What was great about this episode was how it treated the whole story of Natsume being turned back into a kid. Normally, in other shows, it'd be all hijinks, comedy and misunderstandings. But nah, it's a reminder of how Natsume's life used to be - loneliness, fear, mistrust, anxiety. It was handled really well. Six seasons and Natsume is as consistently good as ever. |

| The most beautiful anime ever is back, leave it up to Natsume Yuujinchou to start off the season by making me cry. I was teary from the moment Natsume turned back into a child, because everything about him, his mistrust and wanting to do things by himself, is just so heartbreaking to watch. We're reminded once again how terribly lonely he was before the Fujiwara took him in, how everything that has happened seems to be a fairy tale to him. The child him wonders how it's possibly that he would have friends, and hung out with them regularly, or how he lives with people who don't consider him a burden or weird. And we also see how Nyanko-sensei does care for Natsume. He thought of how Natsume would yell at him if he took Natsume back to the Fujiwara, or how he could really just take the Book of Friends and leave...but he didn't. Nyanko-sensei is too cute :) Speaking of cute, kid Natsume is adorable. Also that OP and ED man, making me wanna cry as well ;_; I love how calming all the OPs are as well. |
| Brilliant first episode for this new season, and probably one of my favourites of the show as a whole as well. Turning Natsume back into a kid again was handled far better and far more tactfully than most shows can manage, but then this show has shown time and time again how well it can handle stuff like this, so it's no surprise. OP and ED are both excellent as well. |

| The OP is so meaningful and beautiful!! It made it even more precious how the first episode was an extension of the analogy in the OP. Such a lovely pairing. And always such a warm tear jerking experience looking into Natsume's world. I laughed so much when sensei thought of taking young Natsume to Natori. It was so hilarious. I'm sure Natori would have taken good care of him though. But it was nice that it was Taki and Tanuma. Their bond has definitely gotten stronger with this experience. Plus its really nice to see how much emotional growth and love Natsume has experienced since moving to this town. He no longer has to be sad and alone anymore. Really sweet. I am so glad this came back as quickly as it did. I had already gotten back to reading the manga after Natsume 5 ended-because well Natsume is my baby, but I'm so glad 6 came out this fast. Now I have 2 anime to look forward to every week (this and Shingeki no Kyojin 2). Okaeri watashi no Natsume. |

| Natsume is back, heartwarming as usual.. The OP is really good this time. The opening is really colorful. ED song is okay. I read this chapter before but still it still has its feels. Well, this anime is the one that I will always watch even thou it wont never end. Excellent episode 5/5 |

| As a start to the season, it was enjoyable. The narrative remains as usual melancholy, funny and profound in its motivations. The quality of the drawings and animations, is quite good. I am glad that this show has a new animated season. Reverberate said: So happy to see this series back with another season! Welcome back Natsume <3. Tadaima !!! XD  |

| My favourite series is finally back and ahhhhh it already made me tear up. Basically the only series Im looking forward for a new season or manga chapter of as it's such a well some series. Animation seems to up its game this season which is great. |

| Great first episode of the new season! I thought that Taki was going to go into motherly mode over little Natsume. I hope this season explores more of Natsume's past and further develops his character. And how about a romantic interest? I've been asking for it since season one! |
