| Gear-girl's attitude is about the only thing holding this anime together. Not impressed. It might have been cool if it was fully animated like the ED. |

| I couldnt make it past 5 minutes, art and animation sucks but the main character was just way too fucking irritating to me. Its a shame because Ive been interested in the LN for a few years and I was really hyped for this adaptation. Dropped. |

| I was thoroughly unimpressed with the first episode ... didn't really like the OP or ED too much and the art seems REALLY ugly for this show! D: I guess they used up all their effort into the gears lol. Naoto's voice is really terrible too lol, sorry for the seiyuu who voices him :( Somehow he and Marie end up working together to save the Kyoto grid I guess? Either way seems like they both are the best at repairing clocks or something ... that finger sucking scene WTF ... seems like most of the characters are basic tropes so far, hope they get a bit more interesting later :P |
| Clowork Planet is about a planet, that has a clockwork inside of it. Could have seen that one coming. I like the clockwork aesthetic, especially when it comes to the clockwork dolls. It's super fast paces so far, which was a good thing. Sudden finger sucking was stupid and reminded me of the sudden and entirely unneeded fan service moment in Akashic Records. Felt so much out of place in both instances. I'll give this a couple more episodes. The hatred in this thread is a little bit over the top imho. |

| Quite a great start I must say! Really love the setting and atmosphere. Looking forwards to see what this anime has to offer to be honest! Quite like the characters already. |

| Is it just me or is the clockwork stuff all meant to seem really pointless? To a first time viewer it all feels like a 100% stylistic, idea-before-reasoning element. Though it could change while I watch it. Art is very...lo-fi, to be generous. Sound too. Everything feels very over-the-top, straight-in-the-face, ridiculous, kinda... as expected maybe. Stereotypically annoying MC(maybe a bit less so than some), cheap fanservice, crowdpleasing fantasy fulfilling, damn cliched dialogue etc etc. It all looks really mediocre at best tbh. Then why am I watching a now by and gone show while being this harsh and dickish? Well...dunno, it has a bit of charm to it. Can't deny the clockwork stuff is a very pleasing idea too. Maybe having no expectations helped. Reminds me of this, much shittier art/script but maybe more enticing setting and characters. |

| I watched the first episode of this when it originally aired, and I don't remember anything about it. I do remember the premise seemed interesting and after watching the first episode it was completely different from what I was expecting and so I ended up dropping it. That being said, I'm trying to clean up my drop/stall list, so here I am, back to go ahead and binge this. I'm just going to go into this with zero expectations and see what happens. I felt as though I remembered one distinct scene from this series, and I don't recall seeing it this time around. So I almost wonder if I watched something different on accident before. That being said, this was still extremely different from what I would've expected -- it's far more skeevy. I guess, at least, the main character admitted to being a pervert. So maybe they'll steer into that and at least push the boundaries a bit. Though, it's only rated PG-13, so there probably won't be much in terms of nudity and the like. I'm not expecting much, but I'm going to finish it. |

| As a physics lover, I feel like a lot of gears are designed to be wasteful and useless :D |
