The obligatory visit by Chika-chan :3 The first graders do surprisingly well with each other.
I liked the atmosphere of those 7 - like a big family :)

And I'm so glad SHAFT does not serve us a horrible slide-show like this week's Dance in the Vampire Bund :> (maybe they gave up on that haha)

I was like... "Who's that light-purple haired person..." then it hit me like 5 second later. Poor Sae for being a gecko. Gotta love Yoshinoya in bloomers though.

The 6 Hidamari girls still don't beat the GA girls for me though.

It's always party when Chika-chan is around.

I wanted to see the park scene...and Miyako rowing like crazy.

Another pretty good episode. Good to see another character.

Mmm, yes, this was a pretty amusing episode. I wanted to see the park scenes, too, but oh well.

Chika-chan did kind of seem more grown up. Absolute cuteness and hilarity with her around.

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with this season. Can't wait until they translate more manga volumes. <3

Huh....Hiro can even cook paella!!! I never expected that....She is beyond a house wife!!

Yay, Chika's back. :)

The girls' clothes for the picnic were great. Especially Nazuna's. xD

And daaamn, that Yoshi-chan in the preview.

Good episode, though...
Did Nori and Nazuna suddenly switch rooms? Considering Nori goes up and even tells them to come up in 10 minutes when Chika wants to see her room.

Been bugging me.

My god. Sae's Paella de marisco looked delish. I wanted to eat my my monitor. Yoshinoya in the china dress was even tastier!

That's one of the mistakes they couldn't correct in time I think. Just as the double left handed Miyako eyecatch in a previous episode.

Nice to see Chika again, she does bring this extra spark into the series.

I really liked this episode, for unexplainable reasons. I just smiled the whole way through.

I laughed out load during the introductions. Where Miyako introduced herself after Nori and Nazuna. You just knew Miyako was going to do SOMETHING silly.

and then the awesome ED starts, omg I love this show

Matsuri from Lucky Star can cook paella, and she doesn't even cook all that much, so I'm not sure how good that is as a gauge among slice-of-life anime characters.

Maybe you can get Kuwahara-sensei in on it! :D

...I hope that was better archaic Japanese than the archaic English in the official subtitling suggests.

Heh, that reminds me of that one scene in "Ménage à Troi".

I don't think Yoshinoya beating you is particularly likely...

Now that I'm taking a closer look... that cup of Miyako's that Yuno says isn't one... what is it, then? Also, it has kanji all over it. Now, most of the kanji I see seems to have two parts to them, and the left parts look the same for every one, but the right parts are different. Anybody willing to translate the words on that cup, or at least pass it on from another source?

I know, right? Show-Don't-Tell and all that, and we got to see them chatting it up the first half the show already, would've been nice to see Chika-chan interacting with everyone in another way to maximize her appeal! Because everyone needs more Chika-chan.

I really wish Chika-chan went to Yamabuki too. She's such a good fit with the gang :(

Pretty fun episode, let's see what's next though!

Chika episode! Can't have enough of those! This was nice :)

And poor Yoshinoya, I almost sympathized with her this time.
