| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- More or less a buildup again. While I think the girls are on the right track, there's still some anxiety regarding their upcoming performance. I wonder what happened to Kasumi at the end there...her singing voice is broken? |

| Good episode. I suppose what the other girls and owner were trying to tell Poppin Party was that they kinda lacked unity. Skill was not important, just that they should all have a common goal. Poor Kasumi, she's really beat herself up after owner told her she was the weakest link and now she can't sing. :( Hope she recovers soon. |

| Well that ending was very unexpected and very sad. Maybe Kasumi finally realized the pressure and intensity of the situation. I thought everything was going so well up until that point and was really enjoying the episode. |

| I think we all know the writers made Kasumi lose her voice because they wanted to show how hard-working she was. Nothing that big that happened in this episode. |

| It looks like Kasumi's overwhelmingly enthusiastic personality caused her to bottle-up all her frustrations and try to compensate for them by overworking herself finally pushed her to the brink... i can't blame her since even the bubbliest person would feel crushed and scared by the Owner's remark about their performance being the weakest. Kasumi not being able to sing her heart out either because of overexertion or the fear of failure was a very tragic thing to happen on-stage of all places. |

| Kasumi starting to go ‘Whiplash’ style in pushing herself to the limit, but instead of the drums, it’s the guitar. Especially with how the picks are getting worn out and her fingers are bleeding. Her face scared me near the end when she was practising in the dark. And instead of being naturally cheerful, she’s forcing it and she occasionally lets her inner sad feelings appear on her face, like when she went to get the Band-Aid and began talking to Arisa and she seemed cheerful every time she spoke to her but then went to being sad. I guess the owner is supposed to come off as cold and harsh, and I’m guessing she’ll probably “redeem” herself and pass Poppin Party eventually, but I still don’t like her. Honestly, they should just let Space close down. Ever since the first episode, I didn’t like her. And also, why is she still taking auditions if she’s planning to close the venue? |
