| I can't even seem to search that anime. There's no producer, no studio, and no director. It hasn't been 18 months of inactivity yet, but if there's only one episode I think it's safe to say there won't be any more. |

| @zombie_pegasus All the info is on the official site linked on the MAL page. The official site says WIP (work in progress) which only it and Chicken Papa have, all other shorts created by Shichi Shigeno don't have that so there is a clear intention of more episodes to be made of Cakes. Chicken Papa has not had a 2nd episode but has run over the "OVA & ONA will be set to finished after 18 months of inactivity (i.e.: no new information or releases)." time limit so that entry was submitted as a closed item. Cakes has not reached the time limit yet, it hasn't even been a year yet, so the entry is to remain open until so. Shigeno is just 1 guy, so the speed of creation isn't fast compared to multi-staff big studios who can churn out a 12 ep ONA series in 2 months. This is why the 18 month rule exists for ONAs, so many are understaffed productions and are slow to release. |
