| I look for reviews written/filmed by reviewers I follow. These include Digibro, Gigguk, Arkada, Jacob Chapman, the folks at the defunct Anime Academy, Super Eyepatch Wolf, Theron Martin, and Mother's Basement. They may not share my tastes 100% of the time, but I know what they're looking for and can triangulate my potential feelings based on their reviews. EDIT: o hay I posted in here already. Shoujo is the superior genre primarily aimed at young people. Harem/isekai are lazy genres that refuse any meaningful innovation. There is no 'Golden Age.' There will always be top-shelf anime. You should be watching Carole & Tuesday." |
| By casually thought any facts of synopsis within due to their expectations, Honestly, Ratings can be biased or not which you can highly depends the show whether it's a worth watch or not. |

| Nope. I pretty much select what series to watch randomly. This sometimes hits a snag when I accidentally start a series on a later season. For those, I would look up the preceding seasons and watch them first. Though for seasonals, I tend to watch everything so that's a different approach. After finishing the series, I do check out reviews and discussions in order to learn how other people perceived the show. Often, its quite enlightening to see what others spotted that I didn't or something I saw that they didn't mention. Also, its neat to see what parts resonated with people vs. what resonated with me. |
