| Yes. What we call television film/movie in the West is called "(TV-)special" in Japan. ZetaZaku said: "Movie" is for theatrical releases. And releases for the video market were called "OAV" (original animation video) then "OVA" (because of the confusion with AV or Adult Video). You'll see sometimes OAD for discs. |
