Did they stop producing the manga?
Does it ever get to the stage the anime is at?

Also side question, does the manga represent the LN version of Tiaga or the anime? I heard there's a big difference.

Pretty sure it's not, it's just that volumes are, sadly, coming out REALLY slowly.

For example, volume 6th came out in 2013, and the last one, 7th, was released in 2015.

Considering last chapter came out 9 months ago, it looks pretty grim.

I tried doing my research but I can't find the reason as to why it took 2 years to get from Volume 7 to Volume 8. It's been licensed I think but they only have 4 volumes out when the scanlators stopped at Chapter 49 of Volume 6. When currently it's seemingly at Volume 8 Chapter 64.

At least as far as wiki can tell.

The anime is the best as it's the only I've seen. Never read the novel and I actually never knew or heard of a different in between but... it'd be interesting reading it one day. But it's been years since I watched Toradora. The first time was 2010 but even so. The manga is interesting as the art is gorgeous. Taiga is a lot cuter and Ryuuji is more handsome.

Anyway, haha. Toradora is a classic.
I could try searching for the english translator's social media and such but, eh.

I don't know from which new scanlator group yet but we finally got 7 chapters translated!
Chapter 58-64.

Edit:
I don't know how but we got them from the licensed Seven Seas Entertainment professional group.
Usually you'd pay for their shit...

I just read volume 8 from my library in October 2018. It seems like a brand new release. Goes to chapter 73 when the star is broken.

Didn't expect the manga adaption to take so long. 1-2 years per volume. They sure do take their time.

Looks like volume 9 could have it's japanese release this year, if they keep the current 2 year release interval. Translation to english could take anything from 4 to 10 months. So someday in 2020.
