| I think you should add Makunouchi Ippo from Hajime no Ippo the reason i think he is an underdog is because he was bullied throughout most of his school life and he became a boxer through hard work and strong determination. http://myanimelist.net/character/15/Ippo_Makunouchi |

| Definitely add Orihime. She's just a sweet young girl who was suddenly given the power to heal, and has absolutely no desire to harm anyone. However, she's continuously put into situations in which everyone expects her to be a fighter, and the fandom always expects so much from her. She has a lot of pressure put on her, combined with all the mindrape she's put through, but even though she can't fight, she continues to stand strong and retain her kindness and decency. I think one day, before the manga is completed, Kubo will give her a truly shining moment, and she'll show everyone just what she's made of! |

| Hi, would you consider Heiwajima Shizuo: http://myanimelist.net/character/24595/Shizuo_Heiwajima, from the anime Durarara!! http://myanimelist.net/anime/6746/Durarara!!, as an underdog? I sort of believe he is, since he's always belittled by Izaya, is always working hard to try not and lose control of his rage (even though it's extremely hard for him and most of the time fails). Plus, it's also shown throughout the series that Izaya is sort of the 'top dog' while he's basically the 'underdog', as he's always on the losing side (which is revealed throughout his past as well). I dunno, my explanation is sort of ... hard to understand, but if you don't count him as one I understand ^^ |

| I'm surprised Krillin (Kuririn) isn't on this list. xD In Dragon Ball, he rivaled Goku as Master Roshi's only other apprentice and had a great deal of significance, then in Dragon Ball Z, he was reduced to a mere toenail compared to all the monster-powered characters on the show.
