| There's more demand for anime now than ever. Because of this there are a lot more anime studios popping up hoping to make a profit. With this new competition the bigger older studios have long ago stopped making a 50 episode anime a year and instead make 4 12/13 episode anime a year since this way if one fails they still won't be losing money. I know some studios will make many anime at the same time, but I'm just saying their budget is generally more split than it used to be. Anime quality hasn't decreased, the quantity has simply increased. This means it's more likely for you to find your perfect show than ever before, but the risk is also higher since with more things to choose from you might end up only picking things you don't like. |

Only lots of people who have trouble finding what they want. Because in the modern world, it is always hard to find what you want. Because anime became more numerous and more diverse. Speaking of diversity, there are also people who speak against anime becoming diverse. Always complaining about ecchi, harems, yaoi, slice-of-life and everything else. Screw these people, anime still has a long way to go before it expands to cover the needs of all Japan's populace and maximizes its income. (there is a lot to say about foreign markets too) |
