| Is there a way to search for characters? I'm able to search for anime and manga using the API, but I haven't found a way to search characters... Does anyone know how to do it? |

| It's not possible to do this with the official API, however third-party APIs are capable of doing this, but they are unofficial and not supported. The Atarashii Unofficial API is the one that springs to mind as the most feature complete, so check that out if you like. Alternatively, you could scrape the information from the webpage instead which is pretty simple to do, but brittle in production. |
