I was pretty disappointed with the manga, especially since it's from the same Mangaka who did AI Ren, I thought this dragged on way to much, there was alot of points where it should have ended and it would have made the whole manga better for it. Instead we get a bunch of chapters that really felt like the mangaka just ran out of ideas and majority of them just boiled down to them just fucking and being cute for a couple pages. And then to top it off that we are given such a neutral and mediocre ending. Compared to AI Ren this manga looks like a joke, AI Ren was gut wrenchingly sad and cute, this manga had great potential and could have been just as good if not better then Ai Ren, but it was squandered. I feel nothing but disappointment.
It doesn't think, it doesn't feel, it doesn't laugh or cry..... All it does from dusk till dawn is make the soldiers die.

I'm totally agree with you.
And some questions are better being not answered. I think it suits here the best.
One of the best and most heart-touching stories I've ever read. 10

I was expecting something much better than this.
There were just too many questions not answered.

I think it was a bit ridiculous calling Kana an unknown corpse, she obviously had documentation in her room like an ID card, driving license, passport, etc..., and it's not like the hospitals and police don't have any other means of finding out a corpse's identity.

The manga isn't supposed to have a beginning or an end. It's a slice of life manga. It's simply a story and in this case, it's about an innocent love between two young, care free twenty somethings. It's a manga that can only be enjoyed in a certain mood.

I think this is better than Ai-Ren since it isn't convoluted but the two manga series are apples and oranges.

i r agree with arimakenshin....giving out details of what exactly happened would somehow reduce the charm of the manga in my opinion

im one of those guys who has to know what happens afterwards.... i hate it when the author leaves it open ended. I want an ending like in Karin, where we actually see what happens in the future!

otherwise, a good manga.... very cute
"Forged in darkness with wheat harvested from Hell's half acre. Baked by Beelzabub; slathered with mayonnaise beaten from the evil eggs of dark chickens, force-fed to dogs by the hands of a one-eyed madman. Cheese boiled from the rancid utters of fanged cows. Layered with 666 separate meats from an animal which has maggots for blood."

I was happy with the ending. Given the episodic nature of the series, it's short length overall, and the fact that I was afraid it would end with Kana disappearing or moving on, there wasn't much else I was really looking for. It was short and sweet.

this was great manga and i enjoyed reading it

sure it could go on for many chapters and have some defined ending, but ending like this gives to your own imagination and has charm in its own way

this ending gives you feeling that their love is eternal

I usually hate anti-climactic endings, but somehow it works here. Cute story. I'll probably give it a 7 or 8 after I let it digest a bit. And it was weird how through the last two volumes (the third especially), the author kept trying to make it seem like something horrible was about to happen, but it never actually did.

I rated it 9 (not 10) just because it could have been longer. The plot was well promising. But that's just my current opinion, maybe I'll give it a 10 because of my private preferences. I enjoyed this story a lot!
It should have anime adaptation!!!

I really liked the manga, & especially Kana, she's awesome. This is the first time I can think of where I've given a manga an 8 even though it basically answered none of the questions surrounding Kana. I didn't expect all of her mysteries to be solved, but I'd have liked something explained.

Love the ending & glad they're able to stay together.

She couldn't remember a thing. That wasn't possible.

And still, Bill will live on.
He will befriend the next inhabitants of the earth, beings of light who revere him as a god.
And Bill will outlive them all... for millions and millions of years...exploring, learning, living,
until the earth is swallowed beneath his feet.
Until the sun is long since gone.
Until time loses all meaning and the moment comes that he knows only the positions of the stars
and sees them whether his eyes are closed or open.
Until he forgets his name and the place where he'd once come from.
He lives and he lives until all of the lights go out.

If you could actually pay atttention to the kind of atmosphere lead by the author, you could have recognize halfway the end was never supposed to reveal stuff, but just give us some nice slice of life . story was good.
