As much as I didn't care for Nichijou, I am sure it was just because I couldn't stop myself from comparing it to Azumanga which is a masterpiece to me and Nichijou can just fuck off with how it won my friends over and how they always reference it jesus fuck. They are annoying sometimes. *continues to cosplay Osaka because Osaka is better than any of those bitches* Honestly, aside from Haruhi, Kyoani was always kinda average to me. |

| Although I have a great deal of respect for them as a studio, the majority of the content Kyoani produces is fairly average and often boring. The current worst that I've watched was Amagi, though I'm pretty confident that they have worse ones I won't watch within the foreseeable future. | Musaigen no Phantom World is among the most boring things ever created. It had 3 or 4 great episodes and the rest was just KyoAni's cliches on autopilot. Kyoukai no Kanata almost tied it, KyoAni has a natural talent for making stale shows that involve some of the most fascinating supernatural ideas. |

| KyoAni as a whole is horrible, they have few good anime. Their best anime so far, Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, a sequel to Gonzo's FMP. It was way better than the first season, a moe studio made a better action than an action studio, lol. Some ok anime by them are Hyouka and Kyoukai No Kannata. Everything else is pretty bad or insultingly generic. |

| By a good margin haven't seen all their shows, but I generally hear Phantom World thrown around as their worst. As for my least favorite, the answer absolutely nobody but the moron that is me would say is Clannad. It seems like exactly my sort of show, but for whatever reason it never fully clicked with me and the main parts I did like were undone by the ending. Couple that with the rapturous praise it gets that only pushes me further away from it and it's just my least favorite show I've seen of theirs. |

| Of the ones I watched... 1. Phantom World - It was just bland and forgettable. In fact, so forgettable that I watched the whole series and I can’t even really remember what it was about. I think I vaguely remember the protagonist going around and capturing or exercising phantoms or something. I seriously can’t remember, but I do know I watched the whole series. 2. Haruhi Suzumiya 2nd Season - Two words...Endless Eight. Nothing says exhilarating like watch basically the same God damn episode eight fucking times with slight variations. To this day, I think it’s the first and only Kyoto Ani anime I dropped like a rock. The only saving grace it had was at least the characters in the Haruhi universe are likable. Even that couldn’t save this trash heap. 3. Tamako Market - I didn’t think this was that bad...the ONE thing that made me hate this show was that God damn talking parakeet or whatever the fuck it was. It has to be one of the most annoyingly unnecessary characters in anime history. Other than that it was a decent slice of life show. I have a feeling if I actually watched Munto, that would be on here. I’ve seen enough bad reviews to know well enough to not touch that anime even with a 10 foot pole. |

| The Munto TV series is, for me, their only outright failure. The OVAs worked, in an odd way, invoking a dream-like feeling, but you can't serialise a dream over a whole season. |
| Old thread but the weakest show they've had was for sure Violet Evergarden even Musaigen was arguably better than it. I guess I was expecting a lot from VE than just another melodramatic show (there were good eps but it most of the show didn't really stand out). Beautiful PV but the show couldn't back it up. I still don't have the motivation to finish the last 2 episodes |

| Probably Violet Evergarden for me. The story was nothing but cliches for the first 5 episodes, then it was good for 5 episodes (which are the parts adapted from the light novel) and then it went back to boring. Also it's a bit too pretty in my opinion, but that might just be me. To everyone who liked Violet Evergarden, I urge you to read the original, you're missing out on something truly special. |

| All the Clannad responses here almost hurts as much as After Story For real though, I couldn't get into Lucky Star myself and season 2 of Haruhi was offensive at times. Also, as much as I love K-On, season 2 (still by no means bad) really dragged for me. |

Anyways, ppl have been saying that Violet Evergarden is bad and not faithful to the source material. IMO, if it stays faithful to the material, there wouldn't be enough material to adapt for a 12 episode anime. This happens to Chuunibyo, since they adapt a single book to a full-fledged single season, and thus would require a major tweak in plot and character so they can make 12 episode out of it. Also, to those who says that KyoAni never makes good anime, this thread is for those who loves KyoAni and acknowledges them, not to haters who only say things without any argument whatsoever. Just my opinion though. |
