The live action adaptation was so good, I wonder why this novel is not more popular.
Apologies, I just can't avoid to rant.

I'm sure once it gets an anime adaptation, there will be a group willing to take it on. Either that, or it will get licensed.

I haven't finished the LA/Drama yet - but the Drama sure is different than the actual novel. A lot of LA fans were more or less disappointed since they expected something different.

Dyed-hair mains never work in LA adaptations, especially when combined with a more serious personality. You end up with a character interpretation that just comes over as too childish compared to the source material.

That said I'm still going to give it a shot (the LA adaptation that is).

The weird thing is, the whole Eifel tower arc seemed awfully familar to me. I'm sure I've seen the exact same plot somewhere else before, but I can't recall where. I'm starting to wonder whether Kyoko's condition is contagious.

I think that was a reference to some other mystery series, but I know not what it is. Either that, or maybe another movie or something had a plot where a big bad guy was trying to steal a big tower ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It was literally the exact same plot. Somebody wanting to steal the Eifel tower through a ruse, as they couldn't physically, then placing the 'victim' inside of it to make it seem it was stolen. It must be a reference to another series, the whole arc felt off anyway. I'm really curious now as to what series it was (probably not even anime/manga), I also can't remember for the life of me.

I think there was a slightly more simple physical Eifel tower-stealing plot in Totally spies though, but that's not what I was referring too (>_<)
