Fullmetal Alchemist
| The first one had to go on its own path or else it would either have to be on hiatus for years to wait for the manga to finish or it would be full of fillers and we would have Fullmetal Alchemist Kai as a second version rather than Brotherhood. Given these three options I wouldn't be surprised if the author gave the approval of allowing the anime to have a story separate from the manga. |

I'snt that up to the producers at Square Enix? I think the 1st anime was a huge success in Japan or something. If that was true soul eater brotherhood would have happened already. hiromu arakawa is a woman by the way.
