Moca is still boring to me :/

I did like her thought process though. It's much more mature than her whiny princess exterior, but I don't feel sorry for her or anything. I'm glad Mugi didn't have sex with her.

so they didn't go all the way?

I thought Moca going to get all she wanted, but they stopped in the last second. maybe Mugi didn't want Moca to enter his dark world?

Poor Moca I hope you find a nice guy that deserve to have you.

Moca's episode is finally here, she is kind of lovely and innocent. We got to know the real feelings from Moca and how all this is irrelevant for Mugi. Why his face always looks like he's bored?
Also, I hope they could get their promise, that could be a very good step to realize what's going on how far they can get.

Hana and Mugi both love each other deep down. If they don't end up together after all of this, I'm giving this show a 1/10. Okay, maybe not a 1/10, but no higher than a 6.
In other words, I damn well hope they both get rejected. Especially Mugi; Akane is only going to ruin him.

Moca was so cute. Cute is her only weapon.

In this show that is all about the dynamic array of shipping combinations, this episode cements Mugi x Hanabi is the only one worth sailing. The rest are all shit, just fucking shit.

While previous eps were quite boring, this one was interesting. Moca received some character development. Earlier she was just a generic annoying colleague of a male main character (here: Mugi).

Scum's Wish is a rare anime where the characters are interesting because of their sexuality. Some embrace sexuality, some were pulled into this world, and others force themselves into it out of desperation to love and be loved in return. Hanabi brings up that she confuses romantic and sexual love, and admits multiple times that she's never actually kissed someone out of romantic love before. She's just constantly trying to fill the void in herself, as does everyone else in the show. They're all trying to make sacrifices and weak justifications to their own moral codes to try and feel satisfied with their lives, or at least not have regrets. However, unlike romance shows where the focus is either on emotional or physical attraction, Scum's Wish has so many barriers to attraction that its characters desperately try to find alternate venues to vent their frustrations.

They're not necessarily dirtying or destroying themselves in reality, but since they perceive their own corruption within their own minds, they end up paradoxically becoming the filth they think themselves to be. It's a perception issue where if they discarded their own morals and ethics to pursue their desires, they'd be much happier, but at the same time, they'd lose themselves, confusing romantic and physical attraction as Hanabi constantly comes into conflict over. They just want to be with the ones they love, but in a twist on one-sided relationships, their hopes are left to rot along with their own mental corruption. Hence, a "scum's wish" I suppose.

I think calling any of these kids scum is a reach to be honest. I don't know what the author is doing but they're all perfectly normal to be and abundantly self-aware. The only scum is the teacher but even she agrees with that.

It's like the author really wants us to believe they all suck

It was pretty sad seeing Moca like that. I'm not a fan of her type (princess-y loli-ish) but it was quite sad, especially the last part where he puts her on a pedestal and to her that's a double-edged sword. And how she wants to live in the same world as him.

Damn this is really good. Fighting with the feelings your younger self holds over you and trying to move forward even in a direction you might think isnt the best. Im definitely going through something similar at the moment. Also trying to blast past the loneliest and the stigma associated with emotionless sex is a real nice touch. Im so glad there is internal dialogue so we can hear what the characters are thinking.

Why the fuck the girls in this anime always cry when get laid? C'mon, sometimes looks like they are being raped (even not being).

Anyway, Mugi is the one character that try to do your best, even making mistakes. All the other are disgusting (excepted Narumi).

My predict is that this ep is the "after effect", about the loop of sins or stupidity that this anime wants to share to viewer..
But this can also encouraging people who watch to do so..
Oujo-sama like girl now gets "her turn"..
Test drive dulu gak sih 🗿 tapi angka kelahiran turun..

Best episode yet! I really like Noriko/Moca and what they did with her in this episode. The visuals were amazing, the writing was pretty, and even though it feels like a lot of the drama in this show is just taking things that don't matter that much in real life and blowing them out of proportion, it manages to work because of how immersive it is.

Moca is finished now. Honestly don't dislike her. At least though she won't be stuck in this cycle hopefully. She can go find another prince. Mugi letting Moka go and not trapping her like how everyone else in this show is trapping each other is probably the single good thing anyone has done in this show?
