| Yamagi still gay asf, Chocolate Macky still a sly piece of shit, Almiria still a dumb kid. Feels good to catch up. In all honesty, the scene between Almi' and Macky made me laugh: the dude is way too fucked up for me to believe anything that comes out of his mouth. If he truly was sincere, then my bad for being too dumb to notice but if he wasn't, then "well played" is all I can say. Mika hugging Atra was pretty touching though. | Can anyone tell me what the song is that plays during the scene between Almiria and McGillis around the 10 minute mark? I've looked everywhere and can't find it. It's the violin/vocal song that's really dark. |

| There was some good stuff in this episode about how history/family/societal norms drive us to extremes (or at least to conflict). Mika and Atra had some development, and it was good. Kudelia realized that Tekkadan was her family more than any individual being her lover, and I think she realized that she was, in a sense, abusing her power over Mika (not really shown but sort of implied I guess?). A bit melodramatic and imperfect for sure but I thought there were some good points. The child-romance thing is still pretty disturbing, and I don't think that the show does a good job of portraying this. Also, Kudelia basically says child soldiers are good because they develop bonds; yeah.... no. Orga punching McGillis is pretty unbelievable to me too (like if you punch yr boss in real life.... good luck with that). Finally, all the stuff about this being The Final Battle felt very, very meta. Maybe that's the point. Also, like there are still six episodes, so it feels kind of pre-emptive. It's not like the show is gonna end next time. |

| There's something so chilling about child soldiers being hyped up about a "final battle". That Atra moment at the end was cute. |
| this was a very intense episode, the scene between atra and mikazuki was so cute that i don't know what to say. seems like McGillis really care for his child wife, i expected her death in this episode but it didn't happen. i'm so afraid for the next episodes, i have the feeling that everyone is going to die. |
