Kakegurui - Compulsive Gambler -
| I waited a long time for a new psychological gambling anime I'd be invested in. This sounds just like the thing I'm looking for! MAPPA is a respectable studio that has a nice share of its great anime, and they did not half ass the 'animating' part yet ( from what I watched by them). What do you guys think? |

| I can't wait for the anime to air! I hope they make a good adaptation! Specially the art! I love their expressions! The problem is that we will only get one season of 12/13 eps ;-; but well... at least we are getting something. Now I have to wait for Darwin's Game adaptation to be announced (dreaming is free right?) |

Indeed, i m just commenting that if Usogui was the one that was focusing on chicks gambling instead of Kakegurui it would be far more popular hence it would get an anime before it. and the facial expressions that´s what made Kakegurui really popular. outside of the fact that it´s a school full of sociopath's and psycho girls that love to gamble. |

Yeah, i dont mean to say that it is popular only because of the chicks, but when it comes to the facial expressions Usogui is still the clear winner and the psychos there are much more sinister. ah I see well Usogui has 45 vol so it could still get a 2 cour adaption in the future. |
| MAPPA is one of the worst animation studio for me (I count only big ones) but I like the manga, I will obviously watch this show. |

| Oh my god, as a poker player I've been asking for more psychological gambling anime for as long as I can remember. Plus, I've been loving the work MAPPA puts out. I feel like this was made specifically for me, lol. Please let this be good. |

They are even thought they are still pretty newt their quality in the anime they make is on Madhouse level as most of it's members are ex madhouse workers. they became one of the big anime companies in a short time. |

I don't know how to feel xD uhm no some chapters have 20 pages some have 30 some have 40+ etc 12 episodes makes sense as the manga has only 41 chapters so far the anime will adapt everything till the Sayaka arc so it's quote the opposite their is not so much content with is why they had to do a 12 episode season and a possible s2 for the rest when their is more marital to work with. |

No they choose the right voice for Yumeko Kana, Aoi or that other one woudn't fit her character it either was going to be Noto as they originally had planted or Saori if any character could be voiced by Aoi then it would be Runa. so no they made the right descision in choosing the VA for the 3 main important characters Yumeko Mary and Kirari. |

But don't you think that's a lot of material for 12 episodes if by Sayaka's arc you mean the one with the tower? yeah I must have misread your post sorry about that. to be honest I still think that the adaption is way to soon I thought of 2018 adaption cause of the very little material sure some chapters have over 60 pages but some also have just 20 pages so I am more curious how they are going to fill all the 12 episodes with just the 6 volumes with have 33 chapters they could extend some battles in the anime I guess. |

Their is this POV type character that is like representing us viewers that don't know anything about gambling so yeah the games will be explained. |
