Most likely but not right off the bat I assume. I think it will have a dub later on around.

We don't have an ETA or anything, but considering this is SAO we're talking about I'm guessing 6 months to a year.

At the very VERY most I can't see it taking any more than 2 years to come out.

OT: I don't see why they wouldn't dub it, considering all the other stuff has been dubbed so far. (Excluding SAO Offline) Just have to wait patiently.

I love sao and can't wait for the new movie to come out ordinal scale.! I want to know the situation on dubbing it, when it will be done aproxemently I have tried to look online but I don't want to see any spoilers to it so can anyone tell me?
Another question is there gonna be a season 3?

March 9th 2017 USA ~ a little over 2 weeks http://sao-movie.net/us/ so we know its getting dubbed
no word yet on s3 release yet but its coming out tho :]

Another question is there gonna be a season 3?
At the end of the movie there is a message labeled "SAO will return". There's also a new arc started in the light novels called "Alicization". So there will likely be a new season or two once the light novel arc is finished. (It's in progress and pretty much confirmed by the new movie)

Secondly nobody knows when the Ordinal Scale dub will be out. Likely 6 months to a year from now.

Worldwide release for the new SAO movie is 3.9.2017 but I have to be honest, I don't know if it's dubbed or subbed, and I don't wanna spend the time figuring it out, other then that.. it's not a confirmation for a new season, it could be OVAs, it could be a movie it could even be just a new novel.
My guess is that they'll see how the movie does before announcing a new season of SAO, until it's up on MAL it hasn't been confirmed yet.
A lot of anime and movies have only been promotionals for novels or manga, I hope there's going to be more, but don't get your hopes up yet.

That viewing is subtitled. No word on the dub yet.

I prefer dub as well, but I'm definitely watching the new movie regardless. I'll buy the dub on Blu-ray as well, as long as Aniplex doesn't try to screw us over with $100 price tags or some bullshit.

Whenever ExpensivePlex of America decides to grace us with the overpriced DVD/BD releases and rape my wallet once again in 6 months-2 years.

At any rate I'm seeing the movie in theaters in March, whatever the format is, because anime in a theater around here is a rare and amazing treat and I enjoy the franchise.

Yes. They confirmed at the US Premiere that the dub is already being made. No release date yet but give it a few months.

Ok seen English dub trailer on YouTube. Apparently it will be available early 2018 about April ish. If you want to watch the English sub it's available on lots of anime sites. Hope this helps (now just waiting for DxD season 4 but apparently the anime style has changed)

For Ordinal Scale? Many got it recently, its blu-ray release is today.
