OK, ok, ok.....I know some of you will instantly disagree with me but...

Since this is a light-hearted slice of life that doesn't have a plot....IMHO, at least SOME ecchi scenes would spice it up a bit.

Especially since we have a succubus and a vampire in the mix.

I think this is a nice anime, but honestly it's a bit boring....nothing seems to happen.

An ecchi scene or two could liven it up.

See where you're coming from but I feel like it would ruin the 'innocence' that has me liking the show, I mean how often is there an anime that is both pretty cutesy (without ecchi) and isn't centered around romance, apart from the odd anime that ONLY has girls in it? Idk I just feel like that's what makes it refreshing for me and why I enjoy it, so for me ecchi would make it ten times more generic.
Also I thought that it had just as much going on in it as many other Slice of Life anime so if you find it boring then maybe SoL isn't you're thing ro something.

Hell fucking naw.

I personally don't mind ecchi per say tbh (I like some ecchi fanservice, this might come off as weird coming from a girl that is straight) but for this series I don't think it's necessary at the slightest. Bringing ecchi into this might even cause a disruption in the stuff that the show delivers, things that I can personally relate to the cast and the certain situations as well to some degree.

Just bringing fanservice to just pump up the sales or pumping the enjoyment with some peoplw won't really help in my eyes, as I said... it will basically just feel weird with what the show established with the premise and probably would ruin those moments. Bit of fanservice or Lots of Fanservice, regardless I personally don't want it.

Nah it is rare we just get someone who is considering and is just looking to see wisdom. Anime male leads can do more than shout about friendship and think with their dicks.
I haven't updated in years but now I have changed that. I'll be free soon.

What do you mean by "ecchi scene"? There are "at least SOME" service-like scenes.

Like vampire imagination with bare chest

Sensei shower scene

Particularly jiggly breast scene

Suggestive perspective during fridge scene

Breast emphasis gesture of Sensei

Among other less worthy of mention such as shots of legs and feet.

I say "service-like" because often the particular way they show it helps get point of scene across, and therefore makes them important. Probably not the frigde part though, which was pretty needless, but still nice to have.

Personally, I prefer subtle scenes like these (except shower & bath scene which are too generic) than mainstream ecchi animes that flaunt boobs / ass / pantyshots every few minutes in the screen.

Like Hikari's skirt that seems shorter than her friends, revealing a little more (sexy) legs..
Maybe it's only my taste, but I find Hikari's & Machi's (assets hidden behind plain white uniform) design a lot more attractive than the succubus. Still waiting for a little see-through from her wet unifrom though ♥

oh it is nice you appreciate the subtle scenes! They are too underappreciated here by Ppl in this thread IMO. Although I like both kinds of the scenes.

yes! those are the appeals of the plain uniform! But I must say relatively plain tracksuit of sensei which she uses to try and hide her body but which doesn't work fully also makes her more enticing.

I need more ecchi scenes with Sakie-sensei!

It's kinda a letdown to limit her ecchiness given that she's a succubus in distress lol.

hentai is garbage and just because someone wants to be aroused or fap doesn't automatically mean they want to look at porn... so fucking tired of people saying that

I guess some people forget what ecchi is after they watch boarderline hentai stuff like "to love ru". Ecchi is a plague. I'm glad this show is not plagued with it.

Blushes and slight service like this is all that's needed.

I didn't say that.

It's boring because it has no plot and they don't do much.

See...ecchi anime rarely has a plot either...but at least it has ecchi.

This anime FEELS like it should have ecchi...but it doesn't...which is fine, but a bit boring due to the fact that it's a light hearted series.

Fine though...the majority likes it the way it is, I guess that's a good thing.

Seriously though...I never said full blown ecchi...just a bit would be fine IMO.

Like Masamune-kun's Revenge...it has a little bit of ecchi...and it's fun.

you are free to be bored by this, but it has plenty of plot. it is character-focused drama/comedy dealing with the problems and issues unique of the demis and also the more relatable problems. It tries to bring out a 'oh, so that is how it works' or 'eh, is that how it is?' kind of response from you, besides the general moe, comedy and ligth-drama stuff. Well maybe not tries but that's a common reaction.

Yes. All of this. And you posted quite a few examples of the slight fanservice this show already has.

I finally got to see the OTHER Monster anime this season...."Maid Dragon"...

And THAT'S exactly what I think THIS show should be like.

Not overtly ecchi....but at least SOME ecchi to keep things fun.

Also....that show seems to be a lot more free with the way the characters interact with each other.

Basically....that show is definitely superior to this one.

And I'm honestly not trying to hate on Demi-chan.

I really like a lot of the characters in this show....it's just the story is a bit boring and TOO lighthearted.

They should DO MORE considering they have monster girls.

It does have SOME as I have shown. Things fun does not need ecchi. What you should say is you want ecchi because you like to have ecchi.
JustALEX said:

It is good that you now acknowledge there is story.
JustALEX said:

They are not monster girls. They are almost entirely human, except have supernatural power/charateristic. Or would you consider the ability users of Railgun and other various light novel stories as monsters as well?

If you really cared about the non-human aspect, you would see they are dealing with the 'hows' and consequences of the aspects which is relevant to the particular aspects.

You, JustALEX-san, want ecchi which isn't relevant to the non-human aspects.
Clearly, the ecchi in Maid Dragon has little to do with them being dragons at all, its all human-type ecchi.

I dont really know where they're going with it, I dont think adding ecchi would be the answer but this is definitely weaker than the other shows that got out this season.

This anime was done in good taste without the cheap generic run of the mill ecchi elements. I love this anime for being plot & character driven.
"Manga readers are annoying, all they do is complain or spoil the anime we discuss in an anime forum.
They should really do their whining at manga forums.

This show is pretty goddamn erotic, but it's subtle about it. It's constantly putting ideas in your head, like "Imagine what kind of crazy positions the Dullahan girl could end up in" or "This vampire girl could probably orgasm from sucking your blood."
"No, son, you may not have your body pillow at the dinner table!"
