| Code Geass, as much as I love Desu Note. Just because CG was my first anime ever which converted me from chinese cartoons hater. Also part of DN in which Kira loses his memory is uber+boring, compared to the rest o the show. So boring that you can actually die because of it. |

| I have been meaning to watch Code Geass for the longest time... I need to get on it since a third season has been confirmed. I like Death Note, but it isn't one of my favorites. I felt it could be too dramatic and overly convoluted at times. I will come back to this thread once I have watched Code Geass and give my opinion! |
| Death Note. Good pacing and mind games. Got a bit worse after a certain event but it's still a lot better than Code Geass, especially in these two areas. |

| I will go with Code Geass, even though i think the first season is better than R2. While Light had the most abrupt, non-explained change of personality in freaking episode one, Lelouch always had his actions explained by his personality. DN had a thing that kinda annoyed me, that they basically did the same thing that Berserk(2016) tried to: In order to show the character expressions, they would some scenes bring a close up image of the characters face detailed, but that would often seem out-of-place, and the fact that "the close-up image" and the character in the rest of the series looked different gave a sense of discontinuity. CG gave me what i came looking for in the series in variable qualities until like, episode 21 of the second season, DN did it until the start of the Yotsuba arc, despite such arc not being bad (Which means, while CG gave what i was lookng for for 90% of the series, DN only did it for roughly 33% of it) Let's not forget side-characters, the only ones in DN that you could care were Aizawa and Matsuda for the most part, CG did a better job of assigning diverse personalities to each and make them more relevant. |

| Code Geass. The difference between the two series was that Death Note started off very well but got worse as it progressed while the beginning of Code Geass was a bit boring but it kept getting better and better over time. Code Geass also had an an amazing ending, especially when compared to Death Note's. |

| I would have said death note if the 2nd half of the series were as good as the 1st half don't get me wrong though I still enjoyed the 2nd half alot but not as much as the 1st. but because of that failure I will go with Code Geass it had a nice closing and entertained me equally the whole way, hopefully the new upcoming season won't ruin the great story we had in the first 2 seasons. |

| Death Note was the first anime that I was legitimately HOOKED on... It was my #1 for years.... But I also enjoyed Code Geass quite a lot. Funny enough Death Note and Code Geass were my #1 and #2 for a long time. And they're still in my top 10. I got nothing to say but great things about both series. |

| I like Death Note more, but I like the ending to Code Geass more. The 3rd season of Code Geass may change my mind, but I doubt I'd like it more than Death Note. Death Note kept me on the edge of my seat throughout its' episodes. Code Geass didn't keep me on the edge of my seat, but It's still very good overall. |
