| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty much a compilation film of the Winter tournament. It featured Murasakibara as one of the main challenges that Seiren had to face and damn he really is tall. Seiren also takes on Kaijo too... Well if anything, the battles at this stage of the tournament was intense. Felt nostalgic even. |

Manga's already finished, they adapted the whole manga and Last Game is also adapting Fujimaki's last KnB work so there's no way a season 4 is possible. Unless they want to go full "anime original". |

Apologies as I have no knowledge of the manga, and thanks for the info! That's a shame then as I felt there's more to come after the third season. |

I actually wanted him to continue the series for the second year of their (Kagami and Kuroko) high school but oh well. Fujimaki's new manga series is coming btw, Robot x Laserbeam, high school golf, so you can say we'll get our KnB fix through a new series haha. |

The randomest shounen moves for such a sport just randomly popped into my head. Just about all of them are too embarassing to type out |

| This recap movie was successful at bringing back my KnB feels!! ;_______; It pains me to have Murasakibara and Kise cry in one sitting... I definitely think Yosen should have won, and that Kaijo deserved to win. It was just so unfortunate that Murasakibara could not jump at the last moment due to the burden placed on his legs, and Kise's leg was already hurting prior to their match due to his game with Haizaki... >< I really wish Fujimaki continued the series by displaying GoM's second year of high school. – How much each person would have practiced and worked harder at basketball (excluding Midorima who always does that anyway), and how much they would have improved to beat Seirin in their second year! I like that Momoi began calling Aomine "Dai-chan" again, since she changed to "Aomine-kun" in high school. It's good to see Aomine's calm self. I also couldn't help but get excited when Akashi appeared and made his comments about what Seirin should do for them to win! I love that the movie ended with Akashi's face, which really got me hyped up for the next movie!! :) I love that the film included Himuro's jealousy and anger at Murasakibara. Sometimes fights between friends can really rile things up. It was awesome to see Murasakibara back on the court, and determined. I also love that Murasakibara spoke the truth when he said Kiyoshi talks about protecting his team and works incredibly hard, but it's futile because he couldn't protect anyone. So, what was the point of talking about having fun? LOL, he only spoke the truth, but got the Seirin team upset... :P It was good to include that bit about Himuro and Kagami's past in America, and their brotherly rivalry. It's good they still stayed as brothers after Yosen lost. :) But above all, I like that Murasakibara’s love for basketball was reinforced in the end. Watching this movie really had me see that...I'd love to see a Kaijo vs. Seirin match, where Kise can actually stay on the court without being benched for so long. I'd love to see more of his GoM moves and combinations! Like Kuroko said, Seirin was unable to stop him! I'd just love to see Kaijo win and for Kise to celebrate victory for a change. </3 But it's too bad that even if Fujimaki continued the series to display them in their second year, the third-years right now would have already graduated... :/ The comedy was nicely done here too! Poor Kise got hit by Kasamatsu, and was told to listen to his senpai like usual. :P It was adorable when Kuroko told Kise he views him as a rival. :) And I was happy to begin this movie with Aomine teaching Kuroko how to shoot. Kuroko’s flashback of their GoM days at that moment got me nostalgic <3 |

| God damn, another freaking Epic movie. It's fucking amazing how the character's feelings develop through the game. Also love how Murasakibaha and Kise change by battling Seirin and Kuroko, that's fucking epic. Also, Kise is so fucking badass, god damn. It hurts seeing him cry at the end D; Loved every game, every play, everything, of course. If they'd make 100 of this movies i'd watch hem all goddammit. Can't wait for Shutoku vs Rakuzan and then Rakuzan vs Seirin, that's gonna be even more EPIC. Really excited for the next movie *.* |
