Besides anime itself? No, I don't really see myself ever buying figures or posters. Manga is an exception, but that's about it.

I only own small amounts. The only anime I could entirely afford was the Dragon Ball Z 9 Season (orange DVD) box sets that I think started around 2006 or so and finished a few years later, and also own the original DB anime, but I don't think that one is an official release. I own every film released for DB and Z, but unfortunately in DVD format. Blu ray material can get expensive. More recently though I did buy the Battle of Gods and Resurrection 'F' films on blu ray. Both were $20 each so I could juggle that. On other anime series I either stream episodes online or find other means to get access to anime.

Manga was also very expensive over the years so I could never get into Manga for my favorite anime.

I will be sure to set aside some cash for any Hunter x Hunter material in the US sometime. Japanese with Eng Subs preferably. Not sure I like the Eng dub a whole lot. It's okay though.

Watching anime and reading manga is great. But don't you think that collecting figures is pretty much weird? :)))

As a figure collector, I don't think there's anything weird about it. People collect all sorts of things, from sports memorabilia to old records to video games. If you're just referring to the ecchi figures as weird, I think I can see why you might feel that way (that's kind of like collecting porn, which I'm not implying is bad, by the way). There are tons of non-ecchi figures though that are just cute, fun, or even beautiful sculptures.

Non-anime fans might think it's about as weird as a sci-fi nerd who collects Star Trek, etc. merchandise, but I'm not really concerned by it. It's just for me to enjoy looking at.

you can always import manga from Japan, unless your country forbids doing so for some reason.

In term of casual apparel, I do, since many of them have the unique design. Like I'm not gonna be a weirdo to wear them but it also reflects my passion for anime. Having 1/3 of my closet is about anime/manga themed clothes

I've got loads of posters, t-shirts, hoodies, pins, etc. for Kateyo Hitman Reborn!, Attack on Titan, Kuroko no Basket, Assassination's Classroom, No Game No Life, Pokemon, and Danganronpa. Cosplay stuff is a whole other story, though idk if that counts. Most (if not all) of what I own was bought from local anime conventions.
