| Bandai shows the beginning of the first OAV online: The first minute is a copy/paste of the original movie, but they shortened it (good idea because the meteor intro scene was particularly long). Seeing that they kept the "anti-matter" woman, I wonder how well the idea will be accepted among "young" watchers. (I know this is targeting adults, but the western audience will be those teenagers roaming over animation because it's a "free" pastime) Sad to notice that even "premium" OAVs (like this or the Gundam ones) don't get the budget to animate non-CGI spatial ships who wouldn't stand out of the screen so much. @Ligkonakos I doubt you will be able to follow an OAV series with limited theater run weekly. |
