Oh yeah, just saw the article that came with it.

''— Oshiyama and Yuasa are currently working on what seems to be a TV series, to be announced sometime in March (likely at AnimeJapan). They wouldn’t be surprised if it were rated R considering all the sexual content in it.''

I liked the PV. Looked like a western movie a bit? I guess...

MAL entry, please, so I can add it to my PTW.

Too bad most movies take ages to be available and subbed.

So looks like this is the family oriented film he was talking about? Any Yuusa work is a must watch so yeah hope we can watch this not too long after the release in Japan.

I am interested to see what anime series they are planning, tho.

I like Yuasa's works (tho they aren't my most favorites when it comes to stuff), so I'm pretty excited for this honestly.

Nice, a movie. Yuasa never let me down so far (lowest I gave was a high 7/10) and that's really impressive after 5 shows.

Bring on the quality.
Stone Ocean adaption when?

Great news. Looks like this will be the family movie he mentioned last year in the interview. Glad that Yoshida Reiko works on the script also.
I guess one movie and two tv series from Yuasa then ? Sounds dope.

This though.

It worries me, I wish the mermaid design was a bit more different.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaip!

Looks like a fantasy adventure with some slice of life, but its Yuasa so probably 10 times better than the average one
Anime gets to live another day :D

Oshii is probably the only director that loves dogs. He thinks he's a dog himself.

That's right, its slime! It will dissolve your clothing slowly before my eyes!

Ive been thinking about the unannounced project with yuasa and kiyotaka oshiyama, and i think oshiyama may direct it. I'd be worried about yuasas health if he did 2 films and a tv series all at the same time, not to mention a dip in quality if yuasas even capable of that. Just thought that was an interesting thought I'd share.

2017 is saved. Two (maybe three?) Yuasa anime in one year. This one looks like a bit of a departure from his previous work, but not in a bad way.

God, it's funny how much people complain about unoriginality with other tropes but never fail to be excited about 'bland boy meets mystical manic pixie dreamgirl'

I do like Yuasa, I'm disappointed he chose such a typical storyline. It's where the profit lays tho (check out Bakemononomo franchise) so fuck I guess.

Yuusa's cinematography in this short PV captured me once again. (though don't know if the story itself will be good or not)
anyways i'll give it a try.

Even tho the storyline seems to be pretty simple - nothing really unique - still looking forward to this beside the other Yuasa movies.
