| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- All that set up and the hike was CANCELLED last minute. Alright. Miyuki was cute in that sideways baseball cap. I didn't know that was a thing in 1980's Japan (but she is Canadian, so maybe). There's not much to look forward to specifically if it keeps going at this pace. No drama really |

| SO glad the trip was cancelled. It would've been so awkward with so many creepy men preying upon Miyuki... If it was a trip similar to the beach-themed episode 1 then I would've liked it. I don't understand Miyuki-chan's dad. His wife is still alive and he still has a very cute daughter. If he wants to play daddy he can always dote on his own daughter. What is he gonna gain bothering Miyuki? Pointless thrill? And if he ends up doing the unthinkable with her and then gets found out by both his daughter and the police the result is gonna be devastating. Guy thinks with his D than his brain. Miyuki-chan is such a wasted character. It's been 10 episodes and she's still a very stock anime girl and I'm afraid it'll stay like that. What exactly does she even have going for her? I suppose the show's called Miyuki and not Miyuki-chan... What a shame. The next episode looks like the introduction of a new character. He looks very similar to Kazuya Uesugi from Touch (while Masato looks like Tatsuya). Great. We have both Uesugis in this anime now. |
