The latest chapter for Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai has the snowboarding moments and, of course, unclear reply to a confession as in most shoujo manga. For Skip Beat!, a slow development is expected, and a role involved in romance plot hopefully can aid the relationship development and Kyoko's growth in acting. I might enjoy UQ Holder! for its interesting twist on the undead but I would put it off first since the later development of harem seems to be too much of a change from the earlier chapters that have a nice balance of actions and comedy. |

| I'm currently reading the great manga Kakukaku Shikajika. It is a work that has truly inspired me as an artist. I was feeling very, very down since I got a terrible art block because I had neither the time to draw anything nor the motivation, at all. I realized that I wasn't improving a little bit in art, and I was depressed, feeling that the only thing I could do well was to read manga lol. But then suddenly another MAL user recommended this work to me and I started reading it. I seriously have no words. This manga shows the struggles of every artist at its finest and also how to overcome them. This manga inspired me to work harder, a lot harder on art and thanks to it I started doing figure drawing and other things I was afraid to do before. I can't express my gratitude towrds Akiko Higashimura, really. So long story short, if you're an artist and struggle woth art like all of us, don't give it a second thought. READ THIS MANGA. |

Yakusoku no Neverland is my most pleasant manga surprise of 2017. It's thrilling stuff. I'm reading multiple manga at once and waiting for updates each week/month (as you can see on my manga list) but one I caught up with recently was Ubel Blatt. HIGHLY recommended to any dark fantasy fan. The premise is very, very similar to Nanatsu no Taizai but Ubel Blatt is way more mature. |
