| Impure king arc takes place just after Amaimon fight. After that pretty much what happened in season 1 was sort of non canon as it wasn't from manga. This takes place from episode where Yukio told them the truth. After them going to Kyoto part to repair kurikara was where story changed and this continues from that moment as they are going to Kyoto and no body yet trust Rin much. In fact in manga it was this arc after which they started trusting him. |

You don't get it, it is a sequel, or you can call it the real continuation of that really happened after training camp, everything that happened after that in season one was erased, because it isn't cannon. |

| I saw season 1 like 3 years ago and I was planning on rewatching it before watching this. So where should I watch up to before I switch to season 2? This is like Black Butler so I need a specific episode number to stop watching and then switch. Thank you haha |

| If you watch up to episode 17 in the first season then start season two everything will flow perfectly. |
