| There are a lot that are based on VNs which are games. Usually they will have multiple routes and the anime will cover the route of one girl, usually the lead (There's usually 1 who is more prominent than the others.) Clannad + Clannad: After Story is probably one of the best. It follows the Nagisa route, but does have episodes where it's an alternate timeline where he gets with one of the other main girls. | So you're looking for anime based off of popular games? Well there's Pokemon, but if you're looking for something else... The more recent ones are Tales of Zestiria the X and God Eater. Senran Kagura may be an ecchi, but its story isn't half bad. Gungrave may be a little old, but it is the best anime based off of a game IMO. And if you haven't played Persona 3, the movie series does a decent job of summarizing the story for you. |

| Not VNs, right? There's both Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Symphonia. I'm not a fan of Zestiria and I didn't see its anime so I don't know. There's also Persona 3 and 4's adaptations. You can check on the .hack series. (Like .hack\\Roots which is a prologue for the .hack\\G.U. trilogy. There's the movie version but I didn't see it) But for all these previous titles I recommend the games more than their anime adaptions. It's up to you.
