Attack on Titan
| It was good that Arslan Senki was such few episodes, cause it sold very little compared to other series. Ao no Exorcist will only adapt one arc from the manga so 12 eps is a good number, and you should also consider the fact that almost half of the first season was filler. Attack on Titan S2 will most probably be 2 cours, they would be stupid to make only 12 episodes since it is guaranteed to sell well. |

| I'm hoping for a 25 episodes/a two cour season like the first one...depending on pacing, they'd prolly have some left over material, but not enough for another season. So I'd expect another wait afterwards for a s3. Something like 60+ chapters, I think...sure, the first season was pretty slow paced in the second half- over all, they adapted 34 chapters into anime. So content isn't an issue. It'd be surprising if something as big as Attack on Titan got 12 eps after such a long time! AoT is a different kettle of fish than Arslan Senki, Black Butler or Ao no Exorcist...sure those series are still relatively popular in Japan (smallish but loyal fan bases), but they only peaked shortly with their anime whilst never really maintaining that popularity. So they're leagues behind Attack on Titan in that regard. Usually, it's a risk to bring something back after a long time, but with how strong AoT continues to sell basically everywhere...it wouldn't make sense to not milk as much money out of it as possible? I'm just hoping they don't decide to slo mo the pace halfway through or something so they can get more episodes out :/ |

| I hope it will be 3 cours and cover chapter 90 (chapter 90 is good place to end the anime if it is 3 cour) But if it is 2 cour, it will stop at chapter 70 (chapter 71 is a new arc) I doubt that it will be 1 cour. We have so much material now, there is no reason to make it only 1 cour |
| Just the way how popular the franchise is and the long wait for the next season its pretty much sure that it will be 2cour. They would be srsly stupid if they made only 1cour and make quite tons of fans angry. So yeh i am expecting the same amount of episodes as the 1st season had. Also spring season is the season where we usualy get quite a few anime which are 2cours long so already that raises its chance for how many episodes it will have. |

| So with Wit Studio releasing The Ancient Magus' Bride in October http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-03-09/the-ancient-magus-bride-tv-anime-cast-staff-streaming-visual-revealed/.113236 Basically confirmed Attack on Titan Season 2 to be a 2-cour run (24-26 episodes)? It is unlikely to be only a 1-cour run after 4 years and 3-cour run would be hell working on 2 anime. |
