I asked same question last july, so I need to ask again for good anime recommendation from second half of year 2016.

Just recommend me any type of decent of anime series (separated them as standalone or continuation of a series) and I will keep in my notes on anime that I need to looking forward to. I think I also not up to date with recent good movies.

I seriously need to catch up with 2016, I think I only watched like only couple of decent anime from 2016.

*Dont mind about redundant recommendations, I pretty much watch most of / a lot of stuff.
Watching style atm:

1. Mindless Gaming + Anime streaming with dual monitor
2. Focused + Anime binged watching with speed up
3. Couch / Bed Anime watching with large TV
4. Relaxing in virtual cinema with VR.

Bump after 24 hours, Im still looking for more suggestions.

Any suggestions are fine, I just dont want to get caught on terrible series (mayoiga? have been heard bad things about it)

Hands down the greatest Anime Series of 2016 was Mob Psycho 100. My apologies for having a bias against sports shows.

Of course 'Your Name' takes the cake for best film.

Watch 'Planetarian' for a great, 7 or 8/10 type of show that not enough people talked about. it will take you like 2.5 hours and really was basically a film that they broke up into a bunch of random length episodes. Good stuff though.

RE:Zero and Boku no Hero Academia were great. Re:zero got a lot of hate for being very full of tropes, and some very stereotypical anime light novel adaptation characters. However I felt like the show had a decent premise and a lot of great scenes that will be talked about for a while.

Yuri!! on Ice and the third season of Haikyu! are all the rage for people that are into the sports anime thing.
